- North Korea appears to have its own auto manufacturer. On a recent visit to the country, we toured the company's salesroom in Pyongyang. It was hard to discern what was real and what wasn't.

They were both short and wearing the same clothes, blue jeans and brown vests (i knew they were communists because of how they looked and I saw them enter the North Korean embassy).
I was next to them waiting for the light to go green at the crosswalk, they seemed really scared when I got close to them.
I can imagine that you have to know Kim Jong Un if You want to leave the country to be a diplomat abroad, and I have a strong suspicion you can't have kids whilst you are living abroad.

I’m honestly convinced that ALL these cars are from the rest of the world, just rebranded under the North Korean fake emblem. The Jeep at (1:44) looks extremely similar to an older Range Rover and the Sudan at (2:05) has a front grill and headlights almost directly resembling an older Subaru Legacy.

When I was stationed in South Korea with the US Army I would still get nervous when we were close to the border. And I had full tactical gear on and the backing of the US Military. At least it's a varied field. They have people pretending to be Christians in Pyongyang's only Catholic church (which caused a minor diplomatic incident when German diplomats noticed that it was a farce), they have people pretending to be guests in resorts and hotels (sounds like the best job), customers in restaurants (they have to pretend to like cold food), they have actors in "model farms" and "model factories" pretending to be farmers and factory workers and of course every North Korean has to play the devout subject whenever the ruling Kims need to be praised.

@@Br4m76 aid shipments from China helps keeps starvation at bay, but hunger and malnutrition is a big thing. North Koreans are considerably smaller and shorter compared to South Koreans due to stunted growth and chronic lack of proper diet. the food they grow themselves are pretty much old style hand tools farming which doesn't produce nearly as much as modern methods.
