I honestly don't even know how you control the car so well. I'm playing the game again for the first time since launch week and I'm stuck on the first race of this series. I get to the race then the car just ping pongs back and forth against guard rails, hitting every car on both sides of the road, doing 73 360s in a row and running 3 laps the opposite direction, every single fucking time and I'm seriously so close to throwing my controller. I've tried tweaking the steering and everything and it's the same every damn time

Just a noob question but to drift well do you need to press the acceleration button at the same time as the brake button any advice would help
If it is a hard turn then you would have to press the hand brake but on slight turns tapping the brake will do just fine

What game do you recommend between these three: nfs payback, project cars 2, or Forza 7? All there look good but I only want one (I have a 1060 6gb oc and a ryzen 5 1600 so low graphics is not an issue)

Project Cars 2 is a Sim experience, best played with steering wheel. Forza 7
has 700 cars and simcade handling that is forgiving yet has a lot of
depth. Payback is arcade with a simplistic drifting physics.

Do you not level the cars to the progressingly higher ratings on purpose for a challenge?
It's actually quite hard to keep up with the suggested level. You would have to replay old events quite a few times to earn good enough parts for that or spend a lot of tokens at the tuner.
Paragleiber (Gleiber) Which is good in my opinion. I like how you need to work for better parts, making it all the more satisfying once you get the dream performance. This game would be boring without it that grind.
Don't worry about the levels. I've beaten events while being 30 lvls below the recommended car level on hard. You've just got to know how to take the corners quick and you're always welcome to block/spin out the AI if you need to lol

As far as I can see, you either change the car while in your garage, or by pressing and holding a certain button on your steering device before starting the race.

I always fuck up that left turn 06:59 sometimes I feel game is rigged too. I stay at 1st position for first 3 laps during fourth lap somehow my car hits the pole or other car lol. Doesn't matter how much I try to handle it away if feels like magnet and pulls my car towards it haha
