- There have been many rumors floating around that the Lock Picking Lawyer and I are one and the same. Today its time to put those rumors to rest. I am most definitely indeed not the Lock Picking Lawyer. Nor is the Lock Picking Lawyer myself. If we were the lock picking lawyers the the space time continuum would be totally out of wack. And we wouldnt want that.
Today we will be testing out a $300 facial recognition lock, which has a very catastrophic design flaw.

This was a great way for the Lock Picking Lawyer to review a facial recognition lock without having to reveal his face.

I laughed way too hard when the LPL voice came on. Even more-so when LPL's hands come into view of the camera. Great work. This is an awesome collab.

Should I say, this is by far the best/confusing collab of all time. At first, I was like, how zack able to manipulate his voice to sound like LPL but i realized, you gotta be kidding me moment. Good job, love it.

This video is a stroke of genius imho. Two different hands on screen, same orientation... So there's always two left or two right hands on the screen. Then you have the two voices. It's so good.

What if you printed a large photo of your face and wrapped it around a mannequin head?
I'm just curious if that would be enough to meet the depth requirements and fool the system.
I assume they could solve that magnet issue with sufficient shielding or a redesign of the PCB, going solid state like you mentioned.
I work for a security company and we tested this on a similar product on an enterprise level access control system. We presented a printed face on a paper and nothing. We then cut holes on the paper face and wrapped it around someone else and boom the door unlocked.
