I've heard a lot of criticism of the pitch, and ok it's a bit too much of a green top, but there was a lot of top class bowling as well. And, let's face it, some poor shot selection too.

It's green for both teams. What are people complaining about? It was a short Test? The only people that would be complaining are the advertisers and the ACB. The fans probably don't give a shit as they now have extra time for their own life and families as we head towards Christmas.
I dunno; maybe that's just me.

Apparently there's a lot of criticism in the overseas media about the pitch. How we're creating conditions that favour us. That a match like this does nothing to promote test cricket, I read a supposed "quote" from the South African captain where he called the conditions "unsafe". For what it's worth, I agree with you. Both teams played in the same conditions and it made for a couple of days of great veiwing. But people will find something to whinge about.

@@davidgraham8299 bowling on day 2 you could see the bowlers were creating divots in the pitch so the batters didn’t know weather it was going to hit one and bounce up or come on normally. The pitch was shocking there shouldn’t be a 2 day test

@@morgancook4579 it definitely was a poor pitch but it didn't only benefit our bowlers. It was still better than a road.

No excuses if South Africa would've won they would not had been salty about the whole issue.
South Africa should lose all their games from here on.

Call me old or old-fashioned but I can't get my head around the fact that a batsman has 15 seconds to decide whether or not to challenge an umpire's decision! Are you kidding me?! I don't think it's right,to be honest!

      15 seconds isn’t very long.

The review system was originally set up to eradicate the howlers. Instead of virtually every single decision being reviewed.
