It sucks for property owners because it puts them in a bind. They let 5 cool guys that pickup trash ride its all good. Then 5 goons come and put more trash back and it screws everyone. People suck. We used to ride at a place called Wellsville all the time. It was great. Now it’s a dump. Trash everywhere. Beer cans and bottles all over. SxS peeps are the worst. I miss the old days of just bikes and quads and some rail buggies.
Maine resident over here. Same thing happened to us with snowmobiles. There like 4 tracks in the state now, and a lot of the good " free riding " spots are off limits due to property owners sick of goons. Hefty fines and they will even tow your sled to the road.
gotta be real here. crappin all over land is what i've seen as a rule in America. Just look at the trash after a national. It's not just riders, but shooting spots, and anything where people go out esp in the stix, they just dump stuff.
How TF are you not at a million subs yet??? THE BEST MOTO CONTENT AND STORIES ON THE INTERNET AND WE ARE ONLY AT 166K!?!?!?!?! Should be more like 1.66M!
Many of the people commenting on this post have never actually been to or have seen the hills Patrick is talking about. It’s essentially public land but it’s sort of a checkerboard of properties owned by the county and some private owners, and riverside county has a hard no off-road vehicle policy. Yes, some plots of the land in those hills are owned (many of them by foreign holding companies that likely are just spec investors) but frankly much of it is essentially public land which the state says we can’t use for whatever we want, because California. It’s really quite silly, and If you went there you would likely agree.
This guy had property that ended at the border of an area I used to ride at up in Lake Mathews CA. Dude put a wire off his fence to some trees with the trail in the middle... I didn't know the guy, but we referred to him as the headless rider.
Have these guys ever heard of landshark? Its an app that displays land maps, as well property parcel boundaries, the lagal owners names, and any recent property tax information regarding the particular property you zoom in on. Say some guy gets caught pulling a firearm on someone while "gaurding his land" and ends up not even owning the land. That guy is in way more trouble than the guy riding the dirtbike.
It’s comedy to hear all this talk of this area. This is where I grew up. In reche canyon moval near Alessandro. Road all those hills growing up by myself. And around 2003 or so all the cops got off-road toys and used to chase me lol
I like having sick places to ride but if a land owner doesn't want you doing it on their property well that's it you can't. You don't have any right to be mad at them or upset when they payed millions for the land and you were trespassing. I think it's always a good idea to ask permission there are apps that tell you who owns what nowadays.
I don't think anyone gets mad at the owners, it's cat and mouse and as old as time. Most dudes don't care, if you get lifeflighted they will say you trespassed.
@@zugang7248 if you are from the right area you know. California is a big state but if you live in the "IE" all of these terms are well known riding spots.

Rode with Ty when I was a teenager. He’s catching you no problem.
Ty Davis is also a west coast 125 supercross champion
And beat McGrath to win the championship
Man I love Beaumont, 15 years of just the best local trails. Got chased out of there so many times. We started at the chicken farm.

Crazy bc crapping on America is something I see from people who want to be here so bad

Wait, wait, wait... Whats this about Ty Davis is a moto-vigilante / moonlights for the cops?!
Yea lets year more about Ty Davis cop...
i’m from san bernardino and i can confirm the cities surrounding yucaipa beaumont and loma linda are a little hairy😂
I can understand why people don't want people on their land. It's so easy to get sued nowadays.
How about the old palm ave. in Chula vista
Pre 2015 there were still open spots from the 1980s, as of 2020 99% of it isn’t accessible or been destroyed from housing
When gypsy says you kinda can’t ride bmont… you should see how many people are there on the weekend during the best time to ride there. It’s packed
when people talk about men in LA...this dude is what i think of

Hey homie umm Jett and Justin had a world class get off are those brothers ok?
What about reche canyon or gillman springs road i always ride a green stickered bike
Those are not approved riding areas. Riverside Sheriff will take your bike
@@stevesmith756if they catch you lol

@@stevesmith756 lol you can’t run from a helicopter? I grew up riding in Beaumont. Not a problem at all lol

DeAnza used to be the bomb out in the back
Damn has Patrick never ran from the cops or he pleading the 5th? Lol it’s not that big of a deal, cops should be focusing on real crime anyways
The hills where?
Southern California. He is discussing Beaumont California.

Small groups. Don't be a douche, be respectful and almost always just a warning.
Don’t get caught
For the love of god replace your guest microphone. Every interview sounds terrible
Sounds fine to me tbh 🤷♂️
Love the sport, but we don’t have the right to ride wherever we want or break the law.
