    Did you guys remove the bracing under the car for the convertible? Was thinking of installing on my own, but owning a convertible 2015, they added additional bracing, making most aftermarket kits not usable. Thus the great thing about an axle back and x pipe... but on the one you have there, the bracing isn't there.

    I got Roush axle back from cj pony to add more sound vs stock exhaust but now I want to take it 1 notch louder, I have 15"V6 which option would be a bit louder X or H pipe,and I heard when replacing resonator with and X or H pipe you also need long tubes or something..I need help ! Can I only add the pipe or do I need The whole set up?

    • @TheGamingSalvo
      @TheGamingSalvo Před 7 lety

      Benjamin Frank no u don't need long tube headers just simply cut the resonator out and install the x pipe. X pipe is louder also An H pipe gives u more of a old school muscle car sound. Definitely would get an x pipe. I have the Roush axle back aswell best axle back in my opinion

  • @AdmiralRustyShackleford

    Couldn't you install the x-pipe backwards to the way you did in the video? I've always thought you want the pipe to slip inside the pipe just after it, so the exhaust doesn't hit the smaller pipe edge and create turbulence.

    • @Zerogivengarage
      @Zerogivengarage Před 9 lety +1

      snakesonaplane2 It is only going to fit one way. The size of the edge is so small I don't really see turbulence being an issue.

    • @rickfennell7849
      @rickfennell7849 Před 7 lety +1

      x-pipe gives a little more high end and a little less low end with more higher pitch exhaust sound. H- pipe gives a little more low end and a little less top end with a little lower exhaust sound. my opinion...H-pipe. better muscle car sound and more power down low and mid. i mean, how often are you gonna be at 7000 rpm? which is where x-pipes shine. if you're on the street most of the time get the H-pipe. to me, X-pipes sound more like an indy car instead of a muscle car.

      victor morales that’s your issue, then. car in the video is on Roush quad tip mufflers and I can say with confidence that eliminating the resonator on even the single tip Roush mufflers makes a massive difference.
      Unlike the 18-19 cars, the stock mufflers on the 15-17 cars are insanely quiet, even with the resonator delete. If you were to go with what is even considered a mild axle back now it’s gonna make some noise without the resonator.
