The part is called the "ignition switch." Turning my key slowly worked temporarily for me for a few weeks but eventually the ignition switch completely locked out on me (wouldn't let me crank). Replacing the ignition switch immediately solved the issue. If you have this problem you can special order the part from auto zone ($23) or buy it in stock at O'reilly's ($38). I'm so grateful I found this video or I would not have been able to figure out why my car refused to start!
@@2305kb it was on ebay and u dont need the complete ignition switch i just took off the thing like in the video and its just plug and play nothing to it it worked perfectly u dont have to program nor nothing

Autozone requires it to be special ordered for about $23 and I paid $38 at O'reilly's because they had it in stock. The part is called the "ignition switch." I hope this helps!

If it is running yes if off no if you are having shifting issues these is a small shifter switch that is shit as well goes bad alot I would check that before ignition

Could you switch gears while it was stuck?

I do not have a part number at the moment I can try to look it up as my parts man gave it to me out of package
It is the column lock not ignition if that helps until I can post a part number
