I would like to see Norfolk Southern's 21st Century Steam Program revive this engine back to service. I know #611, #4501, #610 (U.S. Army #610), #765 and Southern #630 are seeing service, but I would also recommend S&A #750, A&WP #290, Southern #722, Louisville and Nashville #152, Norfolk and Western #1218, and maybe Frisco #1522.
I hope any steam engine that can be restored will be restored! N&W 611 is a must! We're fixing up Santa Fe 2926! She's a beautiful and terrible beast to behold! Can't wait to see our Northern run!
