Hi Neil, I take it from the name of this track that there are at least 34 other build cues. I’m curious about how many cues you wrote for the show. Also if you could put timestamps and cue names in the description that would be a great help, much like you did in the evolution of the main theme video. Holy cow, i was ready to get disappointed again by my annual search for the original version of this song. The glimps of hope every time i searched this song for it to be finally available as a original version, in full quality, without background sounds from the show, just to be destroyed again and again for years now, nearly timely measureable in decades.

Neil, this is an amazing song that I have longed for. It is a staple of my childhood. I accepted the fact that I would never get the full song after searching for years and sending emails to discovery and Beyond productions. Your collection of music, for this show especially, has to be the best sound track of any TV show. The suspense and build up this song has is just brilliant. So glad I can enjoy it at long last. Its 2005 in my head every time this song comes on
what a great song
This music is legendary, and just instills such an incredible sense of awe and wonder. Mythbusters would never have had the impact it did without this song. Which is saying something, because they tested a lot of impacts over the show's length.
So powerful. This usually showed its head when some danger/mystery was involved and some heavy science about to happen. i.e. Elevator jump. Thanks Neil!

About 10 months late to this upload lol. I miss Mythbusters so much and have been rewatching episodes on CZcams lately and this was honestly my favorite background music in the entire show. I never thought we would have this after years of searching the internet for this music and here we are.This just made my day.😁

Neil, I cannot thank you enough for posting this. It takes me back in time to my childhood watching the show. I actually teared up a bit the first time I heard this crystal clear original version.
Any chance you might ever make an expanded/remixed version? For example, I love what you did with the 2022 dance remix of the title theme, and would love to see even more explorations of alternate/updated takes on that theme and any others from the show. If you ever decide to revisit this piece with a fresh and interesting perspective, that would be a dream come true. But either way, I am still overjoyed that you have posted the original. Thank you for all the work you have done.

There are a few recreation/rips from the show, and they do a good job but having the original finally is what I’ve wanted for at least seven years since I first thought of looking for it online.
This track is the embodiment of the 2000’s for me, my father and I would watch Mythbusters every Sunday together.
Brings back a lot of great memories from my childhood into teenage years.

Neil, I am sure you are well aware by now how much your music has shaped the youth of so many. I grew up watching Mythbusters every Wednesday night at 9:00pm on the Discovery channel with my dad, since before I was 8 years old!
After hearing this song on one of the pivotal moments of the show, I was so excited that I ran to the computer and hunted for "Mythbusters background music." After searching for a couple days after school with my dad's help, all we could find was one video of a soundbite from the show: czcams.com/video/Klrz-AhgBfk/video.html
That was in 2008.
The comments were filled with people trying to find your music.
People wrote updates occasionally. A year later, someone had emailed you, or the discovery channel, and the music was impossible to release for legal reasons or whatnot, but one day it might be.
I checked in every now and again over the years, through high school, then college, hoping upon hope that someone would post an update, or the music would be released.
I am 24 now, and I have dedicated my life to music and science, becoming a Jazz & Progressive Rock drummer, keyboardist, and guitar player, and getting a Masters in Applied Physics, a huge part in thanks to your music and Mythbusters.
On a whim, I googled again, 15 years later, "Mythbusters background music." Your video was the first.
Thank you so much for all you've done. ❤You've changed the world for us with your music, now twice over!

Oh my god this is like the ultimate coincidence. I was just thinking about this song today, so I’m looking to see if maybe somebody knows what it is, so I go on Reddit, and I search for MythBusters background music, and there’s a post about it from one day ago, and this literally uploaded yesterday. That’s freaky. I think I need to go buy a lottery ticket now. Lol.
