when i open the updates menu it shows unknown layout specified. please help me all my apps are out of date
i have this problem over a year and probably about to gave already up everyday i search for the solution for my Microsoft problems is like most of my Microsoft app could not open and just keep crashing and my window firewall cannot turn it on back and Microsoft store arent showing in the app and feature setting and when i open Microsoft store is just crash when i open the wsreset thingy it just said "you need a new app to open this ms-window-open-link" and when i open window security it crashes everytime there is a few app i can open like window setting.

For some people (including me) in the comments, the issue can be fixed by downloading Xbox app for Windows and at the bottom it gives the option to install missing apps including store.(not my idea I discovered it in the comments)

My Microsoft store his showing package problems and the update his having long issues
My problem is that the Microsoft Store is opening , but when you select something , the MS Store is closing again . I have folowed all yor processes , but it is still not working correctly .
Try Repairing Windows
Search cmd then run as admin and execute the following 3 commands one by one-
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Restart.
Once Done Trying Running System File Checker SFC Scan
sfc /scannow
Restart.
Windows Updates-
Install all the latest Updates and then Restart the PC.

my problem is that the MS store is openning, but when I try to update app on store it says " something happened on our end" and stop updating the app. I faced this problem soon and also windows update not working. please help me

My windows store does not exist, at all, anywhere. I cant even do wreset because i need to download from the mstore that doesent exist, i did powershell downloaded every windows package EXCEPT the windows store.. i re-installed windows 4 times and did a fresh windows install. Nothing. At all, anywhere, how. HOW. HOW does this happen, its actually impossible. I dont know what to do, its causing my pc to crash and become unstable.

I am seemingly stable, after downloading XBOX app, running it, there is an auto repair that Installs important windows fixes, this is the ONLY WAY, there is not cmd command powershell or any sub application other than this. Super Weird- and it needs to get addressed by Microsoft- thats not all though, the crashing still happened, I had to update my Bios, crashing still happened, I had to Install my update Chipset Driver. Since then I have not bluescreened, yet. But I also havent been running vr applications since that time either.@@villanadadarienbriellec.2939

during running the command wsreset it popup a message and sayd you'll need a new app to open this ms-windows-store link

So i think the reason why my MS is crashing is because 7 month ago when i download something but it didnt downloading, then when i close and open MS store it doest work until now, how do i fix it?
Most videos shows to just reset which didn't do anything for me. Thank you for providing a DNS solution, it seemed that the DNS was the reason the downloads were stuck.

Try resetting pc or try a different internet like mobile Hotspot
they are just pc jockys cant fix a damn thing.
