I’ve been telling people for years that the Skar RP4500 is a beast of a amp!
Your right these are good amplifiers. You need to do more vids Subwoofer King. I miss watching your vids. I now have 2 Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofers on 2 Soundqubed S1-2250.1.
I have two RP 3500 and they do rated power
I'm downsizing to this amp from an NS-2, we'll see how it performs :)
Yup they are pretty much sundown but they don't hurt people pockets.

I literally just received this amp today. I can’t wait to install it. I have the rp 2000.1 running 2) zvx8d4 . I had 2) svr8d4 on the rp800.1 and they sounded great. But I’m an addict and had to have more. I have this in a Chevy Silverado crew cab with an under seat box . 8 have 4) ds18 6.5 in the doors on the Skar rp150.4 . I built a box for the zvx8’s. Awesome video as always. You’re such a big help, thank you sir .
I've created a bank of 4 1000 CCA new NAPA batteries wired in paralell feeding my RP4500.1.d and Im pushing only 2 SVR 12 DVC 2 ohm subs in a custom ported box and love the sound!
A couple things I am now experiencing is my rear wiew mirror will not stay attached to the windshield and even if it rere to I'll bet the windshield will be the first piece of glass to crack and crumble. Secondly I now notice I don't have the problem of tailgaters any more. The few who do ride my tail are absolute music lovers without a doubt. Van Halen's 1st album at earth shaking levels gets lots of former head bangers at it again!
This amp is a beast the only down side it’s very power hungry. I kept blowing 500amp fuses because of the current draw after 20-30 minutes of playing. So I installed two 300 amp fuses in parallel to get 600 amps since 500 is the biggest anl fuses I can find
Beast of an amp, I had one of these and the power it put out running it at .5 ohms is amazing. Skar hands down makes quality amps that are built like a tank.
I got a rp4500.1 on 4 evl 15s wired to a 1 ohm load, dual power and ground inputs on good electrical and the amp don't even get warm, definitely worth the money!!!
What electrical are you running looking to buy one but I’m on stock electrical? I already bought a big 3 kit

Running at 2 ohms.....blew a speaker and took out the amp😮
I thought the Korean circuitry would've went into protect mode but it didn't and started pulling hard leaving 5 to volts when it was on.😢
Any time a coil goes it's a risk to the amp unfortunately. Even with a protection circuit, a dead short is often too much.

All these car audio bashers out there calling Skar Audio "Skarbage" and it's doing major work!! I use to get bashed when I ran Shark 2500s and Power Acoustik Mofo's. I put up 153.7s with 6-mofo 12s and 6-SPl Fx1-5500D amps, Then switched to 6-Shark 2500s. Then I ran 8-shark 2500s strapped on 4-Mofo 15s and did 154.8s on the windshield and 155.4s in the kick. I shut down every hater on Fb!!! They were putting out 4k strapped per pair on 9-lead acid batteries. 16k total.
Just an update. I have strapped my two rp4500 at .5 ohm. Played for 45 minutes and amps were only getting on the warm side but not hot. Never went into protect at all. It’s definitely half ohm capable although skar doesn’t support it

I've had a couple rp amps but am rockin the skv2 100.4 rn it's a clean and powerful little amp. For the price it does fantastic

I have one of these amps but not sure if mine is Chinese or elsewhere manufactured. I have since installing it only used 2 new NAPA acid lead batteries rated at 1000 CCA each to power it. One under the hood and the amp power wires come off that battery and battery #2 is about 2 feet away from the amp with both ground cables lass than 18" and securely bolted to body ground. I have not done the big 3 as I should have but will hopefully do that tomorrow. My power cables to the amp are a pair of 6 gauge parallel run 100% stranded copper same with ground. I use an online combined wire gauge calculator and it says 2 cables at 6 gauge is equal to 3 gauge. Being that I am not running a bigger battery bank Im thinking my 2 cables that make 3 gauge moves amperage enough for my 2 batteries.
If I was able to I would have the full 5 batteries along with 1 ought wire feeding the amp! I push a pair of Skar 12" DVC 2 ohm SVR subs in a vented enclosure wired with 12 gauge speaker wire..
Im looking for the drawings for 4th or 6th order vented enclosure that I can build myself. Im putting the system in a 2002 full size Toyota Sequoia's rear cargo area without the 3rd row seats installed. I would really like the drawings to be for a sub box that was pretty much the entire rear storage area, 46" x 48" that sat low profile so it would not be too visible. Any help would be appreciated.

The rp 35 and 4500 tend to be built better than the lower wattage rp amps. Those are terrible. Lol
I’ve been telling people that for years, that the RP 3500&4500 are built better than the lower wattage RP amps. They also have more settings, and overall better sound quality. Made a video about the lower RP 2000 and below amps being trash, and got bashed for it
Wow strap 2 of those together and you will get over 10k rms watts.
Next try the SK 4500rms watt amp.
If you try the Skar SK 4500 try .50 ohms!! Now that will be cool.

What size woofers were you pushing and how long until it got to hot
What voltage do you run it down tell, I got a 4500rp and it played at 12.5 and didn't go into protect mode , got them pushing 2 18in xv2 with the bigg three and a 370 amp mechman elite series alt and 2 bigg agm Batts in the back?

Im not 100% sure but i think rp-3500&4500 ar the only korean skar rp amps
All RP are Chinese and all SK are Korean.
I felt the same after I tested the RP3500.1. My belief is the people who talk smack on it have either never used one, or through user error blew it up from abuse and or bad install...
So the rp line is Chinese an the sk line is Korean?

The RP series is the work horse of the brand... that RP2k is a very great seller for any set up budget minded or not

That RP series no matter entry or top of the line is the amp best selling amp for the brand in 2023.
I never once stated that it was the best the Brand had to offer nor did I state that it was the most durable.
Sales is what make or break a Brand and these so called "Chinese junks" does quite a job for those whom use them as they should....or did you not watch the Dyno test?

Y’all jumped on me on Facekicker’s last video for comparing and contrasting a $1500 AD 4500 watt amp against the Slapz $300 amp of same power, and now we have a $500 Skar outperforming the $1500 AD. So, again, I ask, why and who buys the $1500 amp and not the $500 or $300 alternatives of the same power? (Caps go bad all the time, regardless of manufacturer, btw, look at refurbished amps from all manufacturers). Someone please explain it to me. I’m not picking on AD, but the budget manufacturers are winning right now. Just sayin’
I would never buy skar or any cheap fuckin Chinese build for the fact that these are made with peanuts and paper clips...yes, they do over rated but that just because they lowered the power rate so when it goes over, people get all wet ...these amps have shit co-amps and drain the fuck out of your electrical ...skar does not have a R&D department nor do companies like Skar do ..this is because these amps are nothing but alibaba cookie cut designs ...reason why in the video, he found a broken cap and junk in the Amp, they dont have any QC...haven't you noticed how skar audio hasn't come out with any new amps in many years ...if you look at the Skars SK line, they are still at version 2, this is because there is no any other designs cheap enough to run without raising the prices

People do talk trash about the RP 4500 but I’ve been running mine at .5 for a year with 72ah cmax and a320 amp alternator my voltage never drops below 15.5 best amp for the money why buy Korean when this thing does way over rated power

So I’ve blown my old 2k rms amp not sure why it blew but I’m looking into getting one of these amps. I have same alternator and big 3 kit not extra batter and stock battery at that but do you think if I don’t go over 3/4 gain would it preform aswell as yours and not drop voltage
@@haydenputz6574 man I don’t know if it will last without going lithium I had 2 D4800s before got my cmax but on stock battery I wouldn’t chance it those 4500s use a lot of power especially at .5

Everyone of those caps are swelled!! Super cheap skar garbage!! The RP series are made in the ghetto of china. With parts left over from pyramid amplifiers.
