I totally felt you when you said you like that MGA is putting in a lot of effort in these but it's sad that it's away from Rainbow High. I like the comparison of both brands and I agree with you that I'd rather save up and get something more realistic. Glad that you liked the bath bombs but that's sad that one broke apart right over your carpet!
Yeah, MGA is killing it with these, but at what cost?? Have you seen pics of the LOTR ones? I've never watched the movies, but making my own sword sounds awesome!!
That's the risk I take filming in the closet. In retrospect, I probably should have put a towel down 😅

Yeah, I think they're doing a better job in the DIY department. Mini Brands should stick to purses
Dang, it sucks that the spa tools were missing, but that trowel came in handy. I prefer the realism of the Miniverse plants over the Mini Brands ones, but they're okay. My main issue is that they don't look 1/6 scale but a little bigger. I wonder if MGA's budget is actually going towards Miniverse or if it's just that Miniverse sells well enough that it didn't have to lose its budget. Like maybe RH and LOL Tweens sales were underperforming so they scaled the budget back on them to put towards their next big toy launch that's currently in development. Who knows.
Yeah, I can't believe they jipped me like that!! I feel like plants you can get away with some weird scales more than other stuff, but the realism definitely isn't there.
Considering the recall on Miniverse, I have to wonder how this will affect their budget. They're offering refunds to people who return the resin, and I bet a lot of people would go for that.

So since MiniBrands has the resin glue, wouldn’t that make it need to be recalled? Also, I like the succulent much better than the flower. The Make it Mini Lifestyle flowers seem more realistic because of the color green and the way the leaf looks like a real leaf like you said. Oh wow both miniverse succulents look so much better than the other one!
I’m excited you got the bathbombs you wanted but wow what an extensive process! 😅 I don’t think I’d have the patience to do it 😂

From what I read about the recall, it was some specific stuff they used in the resin and they've changed the formula. If Mini Brands is using the same stuff then yeah, they would have to recall, but I'm not sure. They're probably reviewing everything now before they get too deep in.
Yeah, you really do need to leave it a long time 😆 plus I wasn't using enough powder, you really need to fill it a lot to make a solid core.

@@KATC Maybe the person that fills the bags were on break, or the machine that fills the bags was malfunctioning when it came to your ball? lol Will the good thing it wasn't the ball mold or the powders that was missing.

@@KATC These balls still have not come to Canada yet I hope they do!! I think I would use play-do for the dolls, and all the real stuff I may put it in a ice cube tray to make one big size ball for me to use. lol
