- I was shocked to find a whole load of new Mini Brands capsules in my local Smyths. Usually new ranges take forever to reach the UK.
So today I'm opening:

These are so cute! I love the sizes. The home decor will work for 1/12th scale which I am so glad theres finally some mini brands for it lol. The flowers will work great for American Girl size.

Yes there's so many new capsules coming out recently! I'm sure I saw on Instagram they're doing a Target exclusive Mini Verse 'adult only' Cocktail drink range. Which looked cool in the photos however, if it is only for Target I won't see those here in the UK.

I love all these new minis! I just got a few spa capsules. When I was young, there were no warning labels on things. If you did something stupid, it was kinda thought you deserved it for being stupid. 😆We had no supervision, no safety nets. It's shocking how many of us survived. 🤣😂
The dresser is perfect to add to a vanity for jewelry and makeup to work for Barbie

I am so glad you had gotten the notebook because I opened one and it was like a sparkling rainbow and when I'd look it up I could find nothing so when I seen yours I was like yesss I had gotten the rarest one! So thank you so much!!
I do agree they should keep consistency with the scale ranges, although it don’t think they could fit a 1/6 scale couch/furniture into the capsules. 😅 the mini’s are really cute ! But I found that when I bought one the furniture was not in scale with the appliances (in my instance a microwave and storage cabinet, you got at 12:31 ) unless it’s meant to be like that. Great video ♡❥
The glue in the garden capsule is for the snail.
I think the flower vase would be cute for a 1/4 or 1/3 scale like an American girl or bjd!
I think you're right, I don't have any bigger dolls to test the scale unfortunately.

Good idea, I used to have some when I was younger but now they belong to my niece, they were called Sylvanian Families, although not sure why it's a different name in the UK.
I enjoyed your honesty! I agree items are too small for Barbie but if someone is a calico critter collector most items would work for them. Also miniverse has my heart
I am a big MV fan but I was looking forward to the MB garden. Now that I have watched a few unboxings...idk. I don't like them.

I have that Cookbook from the list of items xD ( I mean the real one, not the miniature. ) It was my Father's and he had it at least 20 years

I thought the Retro capsule was the best. The attention to detail was there. I felt the Home and Garden capsules were really, really disappointing. The contents looked very cheap and lacked the details you would expect for the price. However, I did think the coffee maker was worth it. It would be nice to see a homeware capsules with even just one, Barbie size, really good quality, home accessory in them.
That's right, decades ago food items did not have ingredients listed nor the nutritional facts. 🙂
The Dinty Moore is an American brand. It is still around actually or at least it was not too long ago. Of course, this is the way that it looked back in the day. Also, this is the first time I’ve seen anything about the home series. They are so cute!

The home series looks like it has some really detailed and well made items, I just wish they were bigger for my Barbies to enjoy!
Wellllllll,... maybe the plants could be used with the 18" dolls.....
True, I don't have any larger dolls than Barbie but they'd probably work really well for a slightly bigger scale.

Les accessoires de cuisines sont très mignons, effectivement petits, mais pour Chelsea c'est très bien =)

Je pense la même chose que vous. Je pense que certains articles sont inutiles pour l'univers des poupées style Barbie, au vu de leur taille, même si certains sont mignons, j'aime bien la machine à expresso, mais bien trop petite.
Les plantes font "mauvaise qualité" c'est terrible.
Du coup, à quoi servent ces objets ? À qui sont-ils destinés ? Je suis perplexe Oo

I'd seen on Instagram they were coming out, I just didn't think I'd find them in shops so soon!
Oh wow, you have a VCR that still works, that's impressive! My parents did keep theirs for a while but I think they have now got rid of it.
It used to be exciting going to get your camera film developed so you actually got to see what your photos looked like. Younger people will never experience that. Although admittedly it is nicer now that you can instantly see if you got the shot you wanted when you take a photo!
Snails are fun, I have some pet giant African land snails!
It's a pity Mini Brands don't stick to a scale. Some of the Home series items look really good and the quality is nice but there's just not much point for me when I really want things that are Barbie size.
I was disappointed with the Garden series. I thought the Mini Brands MasterChef Create capsules were actually good and could be compared to Mini Verse food, I assumed the Garden Create series was going to be the same as they are in direct competition with Mini Verse Lifestyle, but the quality just isn't as good unfortunately.

Adolescente, j'avais tenté d'en élever un, normal de "dehors" mais sa coquille avait commencé à ramollir, et quand j'avais mis un pot de fleur, où je faisais pousser du blé pour les chats, il a mangé la terre, et j'ai compris qu'il avait besoin de beaucoup plus que de simples végétaux, et je l'ai donc relâché ^^"
Oui, c'est très dommage, dans ma jeunesse, il y avait des magazines qui vendaient des miniatures, on les voyait au moins, ce qui permettait d'éviter un achat malheureux si la taille ne convenait pas.

Yes a couple of snails, they are very big, the shells are nearly the length of my hand. I do find them fascinating. I have some animal allergies so can't really have furry pets unfortunately.
It's always useful to see photos. I'm always glad if I'm buying miniatures online when they show someone holding the item so you can get an idea of size as I find listings often say 1:6 scale when it's actually 1:12.

I think your VHS tape is missing a sticker. The Disney retro VHS tapes are the exact same but have a sticker on top to look like the tape inside.
It did feel like it should have had a sticker. I watched a video where someone opened the new Disney capsules and thought it looked so much better. That's sad it mine was missing.

Fingers crossed they arrive in a store near you soon. I had been checking on Amazon each week and not seen anything so was surprised when Smyths had them.
