    haha fr fr . also when they mention " must be attractive" in their criteria to participate. like attractive in what way? They decide what is "attractive," from bodily form to face proportions to height and weight nothing beyond that k. AWFUL.

      Girl where did you see that criteria? They don't have anything like that. There's some valid points in this video but about the bodily criteria it's because of the international rules that they have to follow. Look at Miss Universe Nepal, she became to first plus size woman in Miss Universe tara Nepali haru le k garyo? Bully, fatshamed, attacked her mixed background ani every nepali influencer who attacks pageants went silent. Even if it is forced, conversations about women's issues are better than no conversations at all.

    "My mum was 16 when she got married, and she had me. She was still in school, but after marrying and having me, she faced a difficult decision: whether to give up studying or continue her education. In the village, surrounded by societal pressure and stereotypes, women were expected not to wear dresses ( frock and short which was her school uniform) and continue their education after marriage. However, she chose to go to school and tolerate the criticism. Despite the challenges, she was the only girl from her batch to pass the SLC exam. This is what I call breaking stereotypes and empowerment.
    Ugh, some people really began to take feminism and women empowerment very lightly and these kinda showbiz should be accountable for all the misrepresentation of these sensitive issues.
    “FEMINISM IS NOT A JOKE.”

    Idk watching these pagents on screen and women like Priyanka Chopra, I've personally been motivated in my own life journey. Everything has pros and cons. And its easier saying than getting it done. Women look up to these title holders and get inspired to be confident, have an aim and work for their dreams. Indirectly, they have touched the lives of many.
    Shy girls have become extrovert and confident by watching these winners.
    Also, winning a pageant is not easy at all. It takes talent, hard work, determination and confidence. Like I said, there is always two sides in a coin and not everything is negative. I'm a huge fan of Priyanka Chopra and she has motivated me to be bold and brave like her in my life. You've also chosen a good topic that can increase your views.
    Also, the criteria is there I believe so they can pariticipate in the international level. Nowadays, there are pageants for married woman, any height, any size with no restrcictions too.

And you're ok with Eva Giri selling products but not ok with pageant winners selling products. And you think pageants have not done anything for women empowerment meanwhile miss nepal winners have been running women employed businesses, helping educate rural women and men about menstruation and so much more. Yeah they've made mistakes so how about criticizing only the things that matter and not making stupid statements like they've done nothing for women empowerment. Miss Nepals have done more than you and even politicians.

      The problem isn't trying to make money from the internet. The problem is displaying harmful and misleading ideas just to sell a product. Saari in gym? You're not getting out of the gym without some injuries. And most of the Miss Nepal winners only educate rural people about menstruation and do such things when they want to win and are entering Miss World. After that they aren't passionate about those projects at all. Didn't you hear about Malvika Subba, who used to preach feminism and all that for her personal brand? When it actually came to supporting a rape victim, see what she had done. And for your information, those who aren't Miss Nepal have done thousand times more than them for women empowerment and without selfish reasons.

    • @Kishngajurel
      @Kishngajurel Před 2 měsíci

      @@sagunrai8689 So she should criticize Eva Giri for promoting saari in gym. But she says yes Eva Giri needs to earn money, ok and miss nepal winners don't? Did you miss the part where I said some miss Nepal winners have started self sustaining businesses that are women employed? Some have created non-profit organizations? And Miss Nepal winners are pageant participants, it's inappropriate to always expect more from pageant girls who are supposed to represent the country only for a brief moment and focus on their own development, instead of putting appropriate responsibilities on politicians whose very job it is to do social service works.
      If Malvika Subba ignored a victim that means all miss Nepal winners are represented by her? Criticize Malvika Subba for her past behaviour. Don't lump all miss Nepal candidates in one basket. Some can choose to create social service related organizations some can choose to go abroad some can choose to pursue studies they can all pursue what they want. Remember, at the end of the day pageant candidates are not permanent social service workers.
