You might already do this, but if not....maybe you could pour a little bit of whatever color paint you use (especially when it's a custom color) into a smaller jar and stick it in one of the drawers so that the buyer can do touch ups if ever needed. Just a thought!! This turned out great!!!!💜💜

In 1968, my husband and I bought this exact dresser with a mirror attached with our wedding money. We also bought the bed and chest of drawers. The entire three piece set was $495.00. That was a fortune back in 1968. We kept the complete set for 25 years. My son now has this piece and uses it without the mirror as a tv console and my other son still has the bed. 55 years later, these pieces still look factory perfect with just a few nicks. I asked my son to send me a photo. Yes, it is an exact match. My husband had a good laugh and said to me, “I told you that we should have kept it!”
That was a great investment! It is a timeless style and will always be desirable. ❤

You are seriously my favorite furniture flipper! You don’t drag on like some but give all the information needed. Love your channel and so does my 2 year old 😂-she’ll say, “Furniture Flipping Teacher?” When she wants to watch you and Neiman! Love it 😍
One of the many things I love about Lauren’s teaching is that even though the process is pretty much the same each time, she explains it each time. For example, why it’s important to remove hardware, clean the furniture first, wiping after sanding, or sanding after each layer, etc. She doesn’t skip over those points. Even though I’ve watched many, many of her videos, I appreciate the repetition so that it’s in my brain & not new every time. Then with each flip, there is something new since each one is different with different paint or technique.

I notice that too, with the kneeling & moving about easily. It’s very hard to even pinpoint when difficulty kneeling & moving about happens, but it does. Lauren definitely has knowledge & works hard with beautiful results❣️
Yes me too! My back and knees can’t do this anymore! I still want to but it hurts to 😢
She uses a super duper stool with wheels which is what I would use instead of being on my knees. I can't be on my knees either!
Great piece, Lauren! You can truly tell that you are a teacher, and a very good one. You don’t just say, I did this and that, like other flippers, but you explain why and how you did it! I appreciate that! Btw are you still teaching or are you flipping and renting full time?

I didn’t know that there were products available to make the wood surfaces sleek and smooth with no grain showing. I’ve always loved seeing the wood grain. That is cool that there are products out there that can achieve this desire result. I love the sleek finish.

I love purple too!!! My sister and I had purple carpet and lavender curtains, and white French Provencal furniture back in the 60's.😊🎉❤
Whenever I see her French provincial redos, I remember my childhood best friend who had white French provincial bedroom furniture, beautiful purple carpet, & lavender curtains! (1970’s) I loved her room! AND she had white wallpaper with tiny purple flowers on it - nothing garish. It was very subtle wallpaper.

I LOVE this purple! I've been working on how to finish an unfinished Ikea dresser. Thinking of doing a combo of colors in the room already plus purple (Clare's "Prince"...had to get it, and THEN decide what to do with it!) I might actually do more purple than originally planned now. *schemey fingers*
