Rules:
- No refilling hunger/thirst from the barman
- No healing or armor repairs from Doctor
- No buying from traders, except for armors/backpacks/non FIR guns (NC47 Chimera etc.) Ammo + Meds are FIR or craft only
- No using armor drops in any way
- Drop everything on my character upon death
FIR = found in raid
Plus all the mods I made to enemy health, item values etc
Here's a strat that could come in handy in a few episodes: it starts like your lazar strat, you go to the left, engage the first guard you see, but at this point all the bandits are going to panic and regroup, and more often than not lazar will join them, just behind the second barrier from the left, just above the horizontal barrier. So once you shoot the first guy, throw a grenade that way, it'll get one or two guys for sure, one time i got a strike, getting the 3 last guards and lazar

Give exception If the armor is from the Boss.
+ Give one more rule, don't cheat extraction, when you leave raid u can take items what lets you move, don't more.
U can find the chimera in raid. From the Halloween guys not sure if they're always there at night or it was just an event but my first and only play through I got it from them

Hardcore is definitely the ideal way to play this game. You can be down so horrendously bad at times but that makes snowballing feel so much better

I'm SO looking forward to seeing you flee from a random Hunter encounter into 2 boars, barely surviving it but being out of meds and then dying in an anomaly you didn't noticed because you were paranoicly looking around for ghouls and wolves and therefor loosing 400k roubles of equipment :D
I was just now looking through steam for a new game to play and actually stumbled upon the end of the dev stream. looked interesting enough and your the first channel I found when searching for some gameplay thinking it was a new 'Ish' game I thought I'd check it out, I'm invested it looks so awesome +1 sub, excited to see where this goes! will probably check out seasons 1+2 as well to see how much the games developed :)

Just started a run with this same rule set. 1 for 1 so far in nakedd runs,i even stumbled on a green soldier killing 2 of 3 hunters, so i snuck around and got two guns and some ammo! What a rush

I just picked this up and am doing the same type of start, yes it is a bad idea and yes I have died about 20 times with only finishing two raids. I'm picking up some tips from your videos though.

H for teleport to NPC at the base as default but you can change it in settings. If you find Igor, be nice to the old boy.

Hello Mikey! I've come here to tell you yesterday I found an NC47 Chimera on a Mall run... So it is an in raid findable gun. I was worried because I picked the Crimson Corp. and thought I coudn't get it anymore, but my collector's side is now pleased. So, anyway, I guess you can't buy it from vendors in your hardcore series anymore, since it "appears in the wild" (?)
Edit: I don't remember wich enemy dropped it, but it wasn't from any event. Just enemies that appear on Mall.

i havnt had a cheater death yet. ran a scav run and found a ledex and didnt die so. i hope its better
I feel like even more than 50% of raids have them. Especially since you can check profiles now the percentage is much higher since it used to be since most cheaters have pretty obvious profiles^^

Does hardcore mean no repair?
No repairing armor at the doctor. I can repair guns and stuff but I have to craft or find the repair kits in raid, or use the workshop to do it. No buying repair kits
Tarkov is impossible with the cheaters... imagine how pissed you are about dying to a cheater in a game like cod... where it makes no difference...
Now imagine tarkov. Where you can loot good weapons for 10 hours only to die to one cheater and lose everything...

I see where you're coming from with the whole Tarkov cheating situation, But I completely disagree. They need to finish the game and ensure it's feature complete and relatively bug free before tackling something as resource and time heavy as the cheaters within the game. They already dedicate so much of their limited team to dealing with cheaters anyway so dumping more people on it would really only help the short term and the future of the game would essentially never come to fruition.
