PoGo is 7 years old, and this location is just tied to you, happy you still upload PoGo content even after 7 years
It’s his salary at this point… He also is amazing at filmography and a great guy. One of those people that could have his Netflix show like Anthony Bourdain, or the new Zac Efferon travel type show.

This video isn’t a failure but a triumph! It is a nostalgia and exploration trip into wilderness and into your origins as a content creator. Showing how far you’ve come in 7 years! Cannot wait to see what your big plans were in the future and hope to see them come to fruition!
This just makes me happy, wish we had more people in the world who enjoys the outdoors and wants to share the beautiful nature with everyone
I'd totally do it but I ain't getting trainertips views 😂
Camping with Steve, best outdoors channel ever for good feels
I posted in reddit a camping picture of the Full moon with campfire making the sky look like a giant pokeball due to the moons refraction on the smoke. Looked pretty neat
There are thousands of outdoor people who share their adventures. Maybe even millions.
The anniversary theme just fits perfectly to your start of pokemon go. This is not just 'content creation'. This video contains so much chronography and is a perfect mix of past experiences, pokemon and showcasing a really beautiful surrounding. It was really fun and entertaining to watch (as always!) thank you for sharing all this with us!
Nick: Don't worry about the orange box.
Me: WHAT'S IN THE BOOOOOX?!
As someone who likes nominating stuff (gyms and pokestops in 12 states), this video warms my heart.
Hope your submissions get approved.
The information sign should have no problems.
The lookout might, though, since it's not really oriented in the photo great but obviously it would be hard to get a perfect photo of it unless you used a drone to snap one at the right height.
100 years of service definitely makes it a historical structure, so hopefully that'll get it approved.
It’s been so cool to watch your videos over the 7 years. This is certainly a video that showcases how far you’ve come. Sure, we all like Pokémon Go content. But it’s clear that you give us something more than that. Watching, if not even following along with you on your journeys is an incredible experience. Your brilliant editing and filming skills making these videos that aren’t just videos. It really feels like I’m a part of your experience. After I finish this video I feel like I’ve been on a fun vacation with a friend. This truly warms my heart. I hope you never stop man, every video you watch brings my life joy beyond what I can put into words on a CZcams comment.
Bro seriously wrote a whole essay
Nicks content like this truly makes me appreciate just where this game has taken me
What cartridge is actually in the GameBoy at the end there? It’s gray, but the audio sounds like it’s Gen 1.
It's so cool that you can re experience something that meant a lot to you 7 years past
Thanks Nick for continuing the Poke Go journey for 7 years. ❤
Thanks for your content ❤ so much more than Pokémon go. Remember da og video from 7 years ago …. And omg chance ☺️☺️☺️
"I got curtains, have you seen the curtains before" (pulls down one "curtain") "Tadaaah" was one of my favorite part. Thank you Nick for hanging in there for 7 years. Making content outside of the Pokémon box is what you do best!!
I think trainer tips perfectly imbodies what a pokemon player is. Such a adventurous person and I appreciate you making videos to allow us to come along
I cant believe I have been watching you for 7 years now, that's insane. I always enjoy your nature doc type videos and hope you will continue your journies for many more years to come.
OMG this hit me in the feels 😢 So nice looking back. 7 yrs ago wow lol i miss watching nick play with his little brother 3:39. Great video ❤
What happened with Chase?
I was wondering how Chase was too!
TRAILER TIPS HYPE! 🙌🙌🙌
(I was unexpectedly excited about the trailer curtains.😂)
I love seeing you go rural & try pogo-ing homie.
Soooo much respect on it.
@6:48 😂I have vertigo so DOUBLE MUCH respect on it
@13:06 victory road... nice. 😎
Omg your little bro. 😭 I miss him in your videos.
I was always wondering where he went! Then he said SEVEN YEARS AGO and now i realize little bro ain't so little anymore 😭
I can’t stop watching the orange case😂
Man I’ve been saying I missed the trailer!!!! Glad to see it.
I haven't visited your channel in about 6 years, I didn't know today was the anniversary.
I just stopped by out of nostalgia and loved seeing this direct comparison between then and now.
Nick, you make the best adventure videos of all Pokemon go creator. it's not about your catch, it's more about the journey and memories along the way! 🥰
I just started playing PoGo again after about a 5 year hiatus and in that time i never realized i wasn't seeing your videos anymore and the game completely left my mind. Well since starting again, your videos are popping back up on my CZcams and damn im happy. Even tho it wasn't that long ago.. still fairly nostalgic lol
I remember that video! Man, 7 years. What a journey. And your content has made it feel like a journey. The way you do your videos makes it feel like I've been playing Pokémon Go with you for 7 years. Thank you Nick
mysterious orange box stays mysterious
This was amazing to watch and hope those pokestops happen you requested! Kinda didn't want this to end 🙏😍
Nick has always been the best pogo youtuber since 2016. The scenery, the music, just the videos were always so chill and peaceful to watch. Hopefully i meet you at nyc go fest you seem like a chill guy irl too.
Nick, I absolutely love these videos. I been watching your channel for many years now and I have to say these nature hike videos make my day. They have inspired me to go on my own hikes in nature. Thank you again!
These kinds of videos are always my favorite ones. Even though they're sometimes the ones that contain the least amount of PKMN content. Gorgeous as always! Well done Nick!
As always, your traveling videos are amazing! Can't wait for the next episode!
Your editing is always top notch. Really loved this video.
I remember the video from this location 7 years ago. Crazy it's been that long.
Also what's in the box Nick? What's in the box? C'mon man what's in the box!?
I LOVE these travel posts! They are by far my favorite ones on CZcams! Thank you! ❤
I play pokemon go on and off, decided to look up your videos, seeing its the 7th year anniversary. Its definitely crazy how I did watch your videos back when it first started, its crazy looping it all back to 7 years ago. Awesome nostalgia video!
Been subscribed for 7 years and met you once in Amsterdam, this is making me feel nostalgic 😎 Thanks Nick 👊 keep em coming
everytime I watch one of your videos it just has such good vibes!?!? and actually traveling out to make these videos shows the amount effort you put into your videos and I just wanna say thanks for providing some amazing content and keep it up Trainer Tips!!! 👍
This video was beautiful. If this was the video you didn't want to make, I can't wait for the one you do want to make. There wasn't a second of this video where i wasn't on the edge of anticipation for what was next. And then the old school battle music from the og games at the end during your sign off. This was perfect.
I seriously enjoyed this video very much, loved the past and present cut scenes and seeing your 7 years back self lol. Great video! Hope you get to pull of the video that you're talking about :D
Excited for this video! Thanks for the upload :)
Awesome video as always. Have been playing pogo and watching your video’s since day one. It’s definitely been a trip. Keep up the good work!❤
Keep up the great content man! Love to watch you.
Fantastic video, these are the best. I remember your video from 7 years ago, this was a great trip down memory lane.
I really like your videos. Im not looking for a meta info dump every time im looking for pokemon go content and you do a great job with an interesting balance of informative and creative content at the same time. keep it up bro!
this was so entertaining and love the fact you’re still doing content like this despite the downfall of the game.
I see the numbers going down yeah but the amount of people playing in my town is consistent, some gyms are flipping colors multiple times a day, which is impressive during such unbearable heat... oh wait. Cars 😂
@wow1983 Yeah, game is still alive and well in my area. I'm enjoying it more than ever.
The showcase events really took me by surprise, maxxing out at 100 entries, I didn't realise how many local players there were who I never see in gyms or raids.
@@SilphwaveShowcases isn’t interacting with people. I personally don’t like raids or gyms… This wasn’t just the gym system changing… I guess I became casual after hitting 40, and Covid. But the amount of issues in my local Pogo community, was like high school even with gyms. So it could be I need better people/community… But unless I find that I just play by myself and for sure not in summer… I’m in AZ.
@@Silphwave I notice that the most flipping gyms are near roads that everyone uses to commute to work, but today in a gym cluster I just had fun going back and forth blue vs red with another player putting in cp10 pokemon, I tried to find them irl to say hi and scan their friend code but I guess they left, no idea if they were inside the building or just driving by in the car outside.
Love the adventure videos, looking forward to more and finding out what the orange box is 😁
Dang this video brings me back to the Pokémon Go drop when you went the first time as you said. Very full circle! Blinked and then it was 7 years of the game and this channel… wild. Keep making videos like this, added a few hiking/ camping spots to my list as well now
Great video. What always bugged me about the game is that it doesn't give you any reason to search for mons in actually amazing places like a mountain, beach, forest etc. Really believe they should have kept good spawns or even legendaries for amazing places like this and make the enviroment matter more. But i guess that would complicate things a lot.
Probably has to do with reception issues. Not much point to expend resources for places where people have no reception on their phones. Which is why the area has not changed much in 7 years.
One pokestop. 🤣
@@Redington931 true, also it could possibly make the game more dangerous. imagine tourists looking for mons at volcanos xD. niantic wouldn’t like that king of bad rep
@user-ix2qu7bf6h they have so much bad rep (with the player base, at lesst) that anymore probably wouldn't matter lolol
Awesome video Nick! Can't wait for the follow up video where you find one of your stops became a gym :D
I love the videos out in nature! Keep up the great work!
Finally some classic trainertips content. You are at your best when combining Mother Nature and Pokémon go
Nick as an OG member of the channel this makes me feel like I am watching you 7 years ago when i first started watching you! I love this vlog so much! and i love you so much bud!
Big ups for submitting pokestop nominations to these places when you visit. Always cool to find stops or gyms in remote locations. They're like a treasure to find.
Great video! Thanks for sharing your trip. Would love more of this type content from ya....adventure on!!
I love these camping videos. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventures❤❤
These are the best type of Pokemon GO videos hands down. Traveling to these remote areas and just finding pokemon or trying to at least or seeing a pokrstop far away. Even meeting like one person playing in those quiet areas ahhh so good.
🔥 Always love the travel videos!
Love these videos, classic Trainer Tips Nick!!
really enjoying these travel vlog style uploads that have the link back to the game. I mean that was a part of the original concept right? to get out and explore? looking forward to the next one of these!
I'm kind of glad your other ideas didn't pan out because I love seeing the park. It's absolutely gorgeous there, my grandparents went regularly so I've seen photos but not been myself. Thank you for sharing.
You inspire us to go out and adventure! Thank you for your video Nick!
Thank you for sharing beautiful memories. This places are beautiful .. my kind of places. I love nature and Pokemon Go ! Looking forward to your next adventure!!
The most “middle of nowhere” I played this game was on the transcanadian trail in Lévis (St-Étienne), QC. Because I’m on an ambitious goal to spin every pokéstop around Quebec City (I don’t have a car), I walked 3 hours in a straight line without stopping, until I hit a pokéstop that only had Quebec, Canada in its location. The game didn’t know which city I was in. Turns out I had just entered the small town of Saint-Giles, the furthest I’ve been from home without a car. I did use the Québec bus to reach the Quebec bridge however. Didn’t have a pass for the Lévis bus.
Good vibes man. Keep it goin!!
Been watching since day 1 of your Pokémon content and I have loved the journey.
Always here for trailer tips! Thank you for another awesome video, it looked like an amazing time :D
I was watching and waiting for you to create some needed POIs. Thank you
Epic video nick! Keep up the amazing work
This reminds me of the video game Firewatch! Very well made video man, congrats ❤️
Awesomeness man! Congrats! And way to go on keeping Sequoia!
I love the outdoors and ur exploring videos are awesome!
I didn't play much of the anniversary go event, wasn't happy with it at all
These videos really are good. The exploring ones are the best
Thanks for another meaningful cinematic video and for a great seven years. Cheers to your future adventures.
Thanks Nick! Loved. Every. Minute. Of. This. Video!
Looks beautiful 😍 🎉glad you had a great trip!
Trailer tips!!!! Love the og travel vlogs
Sequoia Nat Forest doesn’t get enough love it deserves. It’s an amazing nature area & glad to see you’re able to go and showcase its beauty for what it is
Trailer Tips videos are some of my favorite content on your channel.
Wow, the view from that lookout :o I would love to bring my paints up there and do some plein air. Just beautiful :) Amazing video, happy 7 years!
Thank you Nick for this beautiful video. Got some Firewatch vibes here.
Beautiful video and that camper is amazing great job!
Such an amazing and well done video!!
Always down for a trailer trip with Nick. Thanks dude
I've found that there often is a gym or a stop at the top of mountains I hike/climb, especially when there's a USGS Survey Marker. Shoutout to those who make the treks to the summit of mountains and submit them for stops!
That game boy pokemon game + camping reminds me of so much memory when I was a kid.
Hope you enjoy your trip ♥
What a story.. the nostalgia and view and the happy days nothing could ever replace ✨✨✨
What a cool idea for a video. A little trip down memory lane. The game really changed a lot. I remember playing it in the first year in my local town, that looked almost like your middle of nowhere xD and the spawns were super rare. Now i open the app and spawns pop up immediately.
That was an excellent video. Kind of weird to see what changes (and doesn't change) over 5 years.
this was an awesome vid, love the trailer content
12:11 gave me them Calvin n Hobbs vibes. Dude keep up the great work.
A trip back to where it all began. Awesome video!
Yooo

This is such an awesome video!
Always one of the best CZcamsrs hands down in the PGO community!!!
7 years later and still love watching your videos! ❤
