3:07 if it was a caught Pokémon, you would get a message saying you can’t berry it. This shows that your berry was successfully used so it wasn’t caught. Also, when in catch mode, the plus stops its automatic catching. It will only spin stops
Unless something has changed it will only spin a stop when in a catch encounter if the stop was noticed before starting the catch encounter, but it will not spin any more stops until the catch encounter ends.
Was about to comment this. Same thing happens with if you quick catch a incense or lured pokemon

FYI if you're able to feed a berry to a Pokémon you suspect your Go++ already attempted to catch, it means it hasn't run yet.
The more you play Pokemon Go, the worse the experience gets, at least during the summer

I also spent pretty much all of Go Fest New York sick in my hotel bed. Didn’t ever make it to the park, but did walk around Madison Square park for a little bit Sunday. Ended up with 25 shinies still so not too shabby!

First seeing Reversal in Zoetwodots video then here in Nicks video, made me giggle everytime.
Imagine getting the challenge and then still having to stay in the hotel, because you're sick.
If your go plus got it or tried to get it, you would get an "item can not be used at this time" message at the top when you used the berry.
Just a heads up, just in case you didn't know, you can give the pokmon a berry, and if it gives an error, then the go plus + already got it.

I caught over 20 shines at my hotel room in NY. The GPS drift was so crazy my character was running around a 7 block radius and my go plus was grabbing everything.
Nick please take a break/vacation for yourself after this summer! Even if that means sitting at home. The grind looks tough and we want you to be healthy!

BTW, you should really look into a fan for your phone. Also a neck fan would be good as well. You use an iPhone, right? There are some that use the MagSafe feature to lock on magnetically.
My play day was Friday morning. I saw a handful of CZcamsrs from afar as I did the park grind. Didn't have time to stand in line for anything, my focus was on getting specific shinies and/or hundos, which I have to say was very underwhelming for park play. City Experience was a totally different story, though! But anyway, I wish I had met you then. I had on my fave Prince t-shirt for luck and I know you're a fan of him, too. Hope to catch you next time and give you dap.
