Lol, I’m the one who likes the longer videos, keep them coming! BLUE BLUE BLUE
Hey DKL! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for the 3 blues! 💙 💙 💙
Blue happens to be my favorite color 🚙
Hey Vickie! Well... Then, it's a good thing that I picked blue for the emoji request then, isn't it? Have a great Turkey day! 🦃🦃🦃💙💙💙
My favorite cartoon is the blue Smurfs.
I see you watched part 3, I'll respond on that comment. Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙
I am enjoying this a lot, I am looking forward to the round drill spin.🐟🐾
Hey Nancy! The round drill spin is still at least a few weeks out... It's a "building" process. Thanks for the blue emojis. I'm a scuba diver and I have a cat named Lucy that I absolutely adore.... So, the fish emoji and paw prints were a perfect choice for me! 💙💙
💙💙💙💙💙, thank you for showing this process and after a few seconds of consideration.....nope lol can't wait to see part 3!
Hey Jennifer! I agree! It was a BIG nope for me too! 😆 Watch part 3 and let me know what you think about the "new method"... And, thanks for the blue emojis! 💙
What a beautiful christmastree! 🎄💙
Hi There, Doortje! Thanks! What's EVEN better about that tree is that I got it AND all the ornaments for it at 70% off at the Home Store a couple of years ago a couple of days after Christmas that year! Nothing better than a beautiful decoration that was a bargain, right? 😃
Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙💙
Blue - While I knew all of this information, you did a great thorough explanation of the process.
Thanks, Lisa. Have a great week! 💙
Can't wait to see your method! It's a blue day here much rain! So enjoying your channel.
Hey Karen! Glad you're enjoying the videos. Thanks for the "blue" comment! 💜
This was a very interesting video. Thank you for taking the time to make it. I look forward to the next one. 💎🦋
Hi Karla! Glad you liked the video! Thanks for the feedback and the blue emoji! 💙
I would be blue if I didn't watch you 3 part series on this Heaven and Earth . Thank you so much I got a better understanding.🤩🥹
Looking forward to part 3. 🧵🦋🐳
Hey Pam! Part 3 is out now! Be sure to let me know your thoughts on it! Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙
🥶 really enjoyed the second video. Cant wait to see part 3. Thank you ;)
Hey Ms Maggie! Glad you liked it! Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙
😱 Hi! After watching the traditional method I think it would drive me nuts lol looking forward to watching part 3
Hi B! It DID drive me nuts even doing just that small square on that blank canvas to show it on my channel how it works. I couldn't imagine doing a large diamond painting that way. Would not be relaxing to me. But, some people REALLY like that challenge. So, to each his own. Let me know what you think about the new method after you watch part 3. I would be interested in your feedback. 💙
Thank you! My favourite color is BLUE!🥰💙💙💙
Another great video, and I am with you I would not enjoy that traditional process so I look forward to your next video. Take care. 💙🔷
Hi Kerry! Thanks for the blue emojis! Part 3 is out now.. Be sure to let me know what you think. And, it's Cyber Monday and HAEDs are 50% off today! Not that I'm trying to enable you or anything! 🙃
Thx for showing how to use pattern keeper. I already have it downloaded and my chart uploaded. 💙💙💙
You are most welcome, DPP! 😃
Thank you for sharing, I have been thinking about you doing a HEAD. Looking forward to seeing your next video.💎💎💎
Hi Irene! Let me know what you think after you've had a chance to watch part 3 of the series! Thanks for the blue emojis! And, Happy New Year! 💙
💙 So much good information. Thank you for sharing Tammy!
i'm looking forwward to seeing your new process. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Hey! Part 3 is out now! Let me know your thoughts after you've had a chance to see it! Thanks for the blue emojis! 💙💙💙
Blue 😊 Loving this 😀 I’m a diamond painter, but stitcher too. I got here through Kimba and going to watch part 3 now 👍 😊
Hi Tammy. I do love to count when I do cross stitch, but hate it when diamond painting 😂.
Must say that this fall season really started off very cold 🥶🧊💙
Hey CharmVen! I completed a large cross stitch pattern about 20 years ago or more, and I liked the end result. And, I don't remember minding the counting aspect. But, do remember HATING that way the back of the cross stitch fabric looked like when I was done. Looked like a hot mess, for sure! I definitely needed to learn more techniques to keep things neater. I DEFINITELY do not want to count things when diamond painting. I turn to diamond painting for a relaxing stress free time. It's very cold here already too. We were in the 20s again here last night. I think, if it's going to be THAT cold, it might as well snow, so we can enjoy that at least! ❄❄❄ 😆 Thanks for the blue emojis! 💙💙💙
🤯🧵I have so many cross stitch patterns that I would like to diamond paint, but they are so old I doubt Heaven and Earth would have them. I hope your part three will show me a good way to use the patterns I already have in a way that won’t drive me crazy. Lol. Thanks for doing the footwork for us!
Hi Mary! After you watch part 3, which is out now, this next comment will make more sense, so refer to it after watching that. On your old cross stitch patterns.... I am assuming that you do not have PDF documents of them. But, if you can scan them on a copier, you might be able to use my new method to convert them to a diamond painting still. After you watch the part 3 video, you'll have to let me know what you think. Thanks for commenting! ❤
Thanks to you for bringing to my attention the differences between all the possible options of charts at HAED. I had chosen a SUPERSIZE chart and am very glad I have now gotten the mini of that canvas (The Secred Garden by Aimee Stewart). When I look at the difference in drill numbers, I shudder to think when that would have been done and I'm not getting any younger!!! Thanks again!
👼💙 so many of your points on blank canvas concerns were some that I had which is why I looked for a better way… not a fan of working on super big canvases, despite liking bigger images -and caring deeply about licensing as well- and counting on blank canvases sounded scary, which you definitely confirmed!
Hi Anneka! Yes, I HATED using a blank canvas. I didn't find it relaxing or the kind of challenge I am interested in at all! 🙃
Thanks for all the tips! 💙
You are most welcome Ms. Veronica! And, thank you for the blue emoji! 💙
Really helpful video! Looking forward to seeing your invention and the comparison! 💙
I see you commented on part 3, so I'll respond on that comment! 💙
Great video. Very helpful! 🦋🦋🦋🦋 blue!
Awesome vid! Binge watching now. 😀
💙..another great tutorial thank you.x
You are most welcome, Nichola. Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙💙
I just found you today & subscribed. I appreciate all the info on how to do this. I have been thinking of how to for the last 6 or 7 years. I hope you are staying warm because it's been SO cold out lately. 🥶🥶❄🥶🥶
Hi Lonna! Thanks for subscribing to the channel! Glad you're enjoying the videos so far! It's pretty cold out today, for sure! But, it's really sunny and there's not much of a breeze, so it feels a bit warmer today, but still cold! Stay warm, my friend! And, thanks for the blue emojis! 🌞❄❄🌞
Thank you for the info have a great day🥏🧿💙💦🗨
Ahhhh.... Thank for all the blue emojis, Tijuana. Have a great week. And, part 3 is out now for that series... Let me know what you think after you see it... 💙💙💙💙💙
Hi Blue. Thank you so much for this information. I just continue to learn so much!
Thanks for the video! 💙
Hi Noemi! You are most welcome, my friend. Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙
I love how insightful you are!!! Thank you so much for all of this information!!! 💎💙
Hey C&D! You are most welcome, my friend! Thanks for the blue emojis! 💙💙
@@DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines you got it dude 👍🏼👍🏼 (in my Michelle Tanner voice 🤣)
@@T1Diamondbetic Full House! I get that! Too funny! 😆
@@DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines haha!!
Wow that’s very interesting
Hey Helen! I found it PAINFUL ! The counting on a blank canvas just wasn't for me, for sure!🙃
🦋 wow, just wow🤯 this is even more difficult than I imagined. I really hope your version does not need pattern keeper because I only have Apple products. Also these Crosstitch conversions sound like they’re pretty expensive. That’s something I’ll have to consider as well
Hey Dragonlove! It is a PAIN in the "you know what". I HATED doing that video! So uggghhh!!!! And, nope! The new version does not use pattern keeper at all. Part 3 is out. Let me know what you think after you watch it. And, it's Cyber Monday and HAEDs are 50% off today! Not that I'm trying to enable you or anything! But... If you're looking to save some money! Also, part 3 will show you that the canvas cost comes down quite a bit with my new method also. And, I have a video coming up that will show you how to get your drill costs down too. 🙃
Tammy, the traditional way is why I could not do a HAED. I would be making so many mistakes that I would through it in the bin. 😭
Hi Again, R.w.D.! You and me both, my friend! I got so embarrassed with my mess ups on trying to do those 6 little 10x10 grids that I cut some of it out of the timelapse even! Thanks for the blue emojis! 💙
Hi Tammy, thank you again for sharing all this!! I really had no idea that a cross stitch conversion was that much work. I would never enjoy it this way, with all the counting and marking!! It wouldn't be relaxing at all😒 So I am superexcited for your next video!!
Big hugs from Belgium 🫂💙
Hello Greetje, from Belgium! It's TOO much work for me! I couldn't do a whole blank canvas like that. It would drive me crazy! I had a hard enough time doing just 6 little 10x10 grids. 😥 If it had a bunch of confetti in it, it would have been awful! 😂 The part 3 video is out now! Be sure to let me know what you think about it! And, thanks for the blue emojis! 💙💙
💙💙💙
I do want to do a HEAD and I was gonna use paper. Nope not no more after watching you with paper. Black Friday is right around the corner I will pick me up a tablet and use pattern keeper. Paper would drive me crazy. It will be sometime next year before I do it. But can wait to see the new method you came up with. Thanks
Hi Ann! BEFORE you buy your tablet, be sure to watch part 3 of this series. You don't even need pattern keeper if you use the new method I show you in that video. Watch it and let me know what you think. Thanks for commenting! 🙃
thanks for sharing all this experience and knowledge. The time it has taken to compile all this is certainly appreciated. 🦋
Hey Jill! You are most welcome, my friend! Glad you are finding the videos helpful. 💞
I’m a new subscriber, and I love your content! I am embarking on my first xsconversion and am planning an event with two other creators 😊 Your videos are so incredibly helpful, and thank you for taking the time to show this process step by step 😊
Thanks, Tammy! 💎 I have hesitated on a cross stitch conversion project for all the reasons you've demonstrated in this video. I have ordered a "Crown Jewel" canvas and drills but have yet to start it. I'm excited to see the new method you've developed in hopes that I might enjoy the challenge 🤔
Hi! That blank canvas approach is not a "fun" challenge to me! I didn't enjoy doing that at all. It was just frustrating thinking I was messing it up and I was just doing a "test" patch... Not an actual diamond painting. Could you image if you miscounted the 10x10 grid size and was off by 1 square all the way across and then went to do your second row and figured it out then? I'd probably cry over that, if that happened. 😂 Crown Jewels I think are a GREAT option if it's available for the design you want to do. Part 3 is out now, my friend! So, watch it and let me know what you think! Let me know if you are up for that challenge! Thanks for the blue emoji! 💙💙💙
You are amazing I'm new to your channel and I just luv how you explain everything in detail 💙 💙💙💙💙💙
This is such a cool process! I cross stitch along with diamond paint and I love how this is the best of both worlds. Thanks so much for continuing to go through the process! Can't wait for part 3. 👗💙
Hey, my SHINee friend! Glad you liked that video! Sounds like the perfect match for you! Thanks for the blue emojis! 💙💙
💎🐟🧵again I enjoyed this and learned so much. I watch a number of channels and agree from what I’ve seen this is a very nice community. Thank you for creating this series. Sine I did part one and two today, I’ll start three tomorrow. Page
Eye opening detail! I can't wait to see your method, these 2 seem far too tedious for my tastes. 💙
Very informative, TY!! I definitely would go insane with the paper copy...not for me. I could use pattern keeper, but I would have to do in small bursts. I will go on to part 3 now!
Great series. I have done a full diamond painting using the traditional method with paper charts so looking forward to seeing your next video! 💙
Hey Francesca! Wow! You will DEFINITELY have to tell me what you think of the new method! Part 3 is out. You should watch it! Thanks for the blue emoji! And, it's Cyber Monday and HAEDs are 50% off today! Not that I'm trying to enable you or anything! 🙃💙
I am really enjoying how well you explain things. Looking forward to seeing your new process. 🤖
Hi Becca! Thanks for the nice feedback and the blue emoji! Have a great week! 😃
Hi there, loved this video💙💙💙. It’s a lot of work to do one of these conversions… I actually have bought a pattern and blank canvas, and was planning on using my extra drills, but haven’t started it yet. Maybe after seeing the new method I might give it a try, but I’m not real keen on the whole paper pattern and I have apple products so I’d have to go see what apple has …. Easier to keep on buying DAC. 😂
Hey Sandy! You are right! It is a LOT of work doing one of those conversion on a blank canvas. Sure hurt my brain! The part 3 video that shows exactly how to do the new method is out now. After you've had a chance to watch, let me know what you think. I'll be interested to hear your feedback! And, thanks the 💙 emojis! 💙💙💙💙💙
Thank you! 💙
💙
Hi Mandy! Thanks for the blue emoji! Have a great Christmas! 🎄
As a cross stitcher 🧵, I am all too familiar with the highlighter/paper pattern method. Tedious doesn’t begin to describe it. Pattern keeper has me intrigued to use for 💎 painting. However, I’m an apple gal so I need an alternative method. Looking forward to the next video for your big reveal. (I’ve been guessing and can only come up with one idea-so I’ll know shortly if I’m even a little bit close.) Great informative video! 🫐
Hey Lori! Your little dog in your profile pick is SO ADORABLE! Part 3 was up yesterday! Oh.. You have me so intrigued. Now, you'll have to tell me after watching part 3 if that is what you were thinking of. I would be interested to what your thought was. Was it close at all? And, thanks for the blue emojis! 💙💙💙
@@DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines Hi Tammy 💎 First off, thank you for responding to my comment and for posting Part 3 of your series. Wow-that was an amazing process. I learned so much from listening to your detailed explanation of how and why you did what you did, and thanks for providing product information. Sadly, I was off the mark in my guess of how you did this. I mean really-how could anyone have guessed that? I would never have thought that you would print your own “canvas.” That was brilliant and a big lightbulb moment for me. My guess was more along the lines of you somehow procured a blank see-through gridded canvas and you adhered your HAED printout pages to the back of it. A light-box of course being a must for drilling in this scenario. (I use one all the time anyway even if it’s not necessary.) I love your method of working on just one page at a time-portable and so manageable. I’m really looking forward to seeing you put many completed pages together to create the final masterpiece. Thank you for sharing your efforts with us and providing a wonderful more affordable solution to these amazing HAED designs. 🦁
@UC6gMw_%E2%9D%A4ZDk_jNW9GcnRniFfA Ahhhh!!! Yes! I actually DID try EXACTLY what you are describing! Initially, I printed out a page of it resized to match the grid on the blank canvas. But, unfortunately, even with a REALLY bright light pad, I couldn't see through the fabric enough to see the symbols! That was a VERY good guess though! Great minds think alike, huh? 😄 Glad you liked the new method! If you ever try doing it, let me know your thoughts on the process! ❤
Hey Tammy
Thanks I have learned a lot watching these two videos. So far I find the pattern keeper confusing. This is crazy but I find the paper one easier as I am a long time ago cross stitch. I had made my own cross stitch pattern. So I am not sure which I be interested in is the round. I have so many of the rounds and I would love to know how to use them...🎇
Hi Again, Tammy! Pattern Keeper is a bit confusing at first. But, after doing it for a bit, you would get the hang of it. But, BE SURE you watch part 3 before you decide what method you want to use. Part 3 shows you have to do a new method with square drills and it doesn't involve using Pattern Keeper at all. But, if you want to do round drills, I will have another video in this series later that will "bound off" the new method used in part 3 to show you how you can actually do a HAED in rounds if you want to! 💜
Your struggles were real! Great video. I think after seeing the method with the paper chart I would not enjoy doing a HAED conversion. The pattern keeper would be doable for me but am excited to see your new way. Love the Christmas tree...mine is up already too.
Hey Linda! Oh yes. That was PAINFUL, to say the least. I hated it. So, glad I came with something easier, in my opinion. My part 3 video is out now that explains exactly how to do the new method now. Let me know what you think after you've had time to watch it. I'll be interested in your feedback. Ahhh.. You are my Christmas "soul sister" then. I LOVE having the tree up! Just makes me happy to see it there every morning. And, it's so much work decorating for Christmas, you might as well enjoy it longer, right? That's the way I think of it. Thanks for the blue emoji! Have a great rest of your week, my friend! 💙💙💙💙
Blue
Hi Delia! Thanks for the "blue". Be sure to watch part 3 of the series to see the much easier way of doing the HAEDs. If you watch it, let me know what you think afterward! 💙
❄️❄️❄️❄️
HI Kelly! Thanks for the blue emojis! I love snow, you know! ❄❄❄❄❄❄❄
💙💙💙💙
blue. I just found you. and appreciate the process. looking forward to watching how you adapt this in the next video. I have a channel too for diamond painting and other crafty stuff if you would like to see it.
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Hey Judy! Thanks for the blue emojis! Part 3 is out now. Let me know what you think after you've had a chance to watch it. And, it's Cyber Monday and HAEDs are 50% off today! Not that I'm trying to enable you or anything! But.... 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Fun fact: 🐸 means when you make some wrong stitches, you’ll need to “rip-it, rip-it” 🦋🦋🦋
Hi! That is just too funny! My mind didn't make that "LEAP"... 🐸😄
Diamond 💎
💎
Hey Tammy I was wondering could you do a video about ordering drills from Ever Moment on AliExpress if you are familiar with them? I tried and am so confused with trying to order from them lol
I'll put it on my list of things to do, but for now, I believe they have changed the method you use to order since I last purchased from them a few months ago. Now you order the # of bags you need of drills. I think you should plan on each bag having 160 drills in it. I believe they have stated that they add about 10% extra in case any are defective. I just counted out a bag from my last order and it had 176 drills in it. So, that's 160 + 10% extra EXACTLY. So, I think what they said they do is correct. So, figure out how many total bags you need of each color. So, for simplicity, let's say you need two different colors. If you need 120 drills of one color, that's 1 bag. If you need 400 drills of another color, that would be 3 bags. So, you would need a total of 4 bags then. Got it? Then, once you know exactly how many total bags you need, go to this link: www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804364885832.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.singleImageText_2003390643659.0&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.hotSpots_2003709010609.0&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.slider_2004028749133.1&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt&_randl_shipto=US
For color, make sure you choose "Square Normal Drills". So, let's say you need a total of 320 bags. Then, you would order 250 bags + 50 bags + 20 bags = 320 bags. Then, after you have placed the order, page, you should be able to click on "contact". Then, send them a message that you placed order #XXXX for 320 bags of SQUARE DRILLS and that you are attaching a file with each DMC # and bag qty you want to order. In that message there is a + (plus) button. You can click on that to attach the file where you have specified each DMC # and the # of bags of each that you need. Hope that helps! 🙃
Where did you get the canvas from
⚾️
🥶💙💦🧞♂
Hi Anneke! Love the blue emojis! 💙💙💙
These are the things that have scared me from doing an HAED design.
Hey Tina! You're moving through these videos quick! Oh yes! I did not enjoy trying to work with that blank canvas. Wasn't relaxing to me at all! Let me know what you think after you watch the third video in the series, if you think my new method is easier... 🙃
Tammy, I’m still waiting on my first cross stitch conversion canvas and drills. I hope your next method is easier as I’m thinking these first two methods will be hard to keep count of the drills. 🫐
Hi Lisa! If you don't want to count, then you should watch part 3 of the series and let me know what you think. Thanks for the blue emoji! Have a great Turkey day! 🦃🦃🦃💙💙💙
This video is so helpful for me. I enjoyed every minute of it! You are a really great instructor and creator 🧞♂️👖🦋🐳🫐🟦
