it’s like their name/brand alone is what’s selling and not the actual pieces they make 😭 JACQUEMUS is a great though. Still expensive but feels attainable considering it’s kind of high end and actually pretty clothes.

I'm getting a lot of comments that the setting was intentional. I understand that some designers try to be provocative in their runways and do unconventional things, but awkward and uncomfortable is a whole different story. This decision just didn't pay off to me.

1) Did they not think about the setting of the show before making those poor souls walk through such a tight space with such giant dresses?
2) I actually liked Kim's outfit, but you could tell she was trying way to hard to pull of a model walk which made her look rigid.
3) Naomi ate even with the poor circumstances they put her through.
4) Half of the outfits were just ugly.
5) I feel as if Nicole Kidman tried to look menacing while walking? She just thought she was Cruella to be honest.

A lot of people in the replies don't realize that this was supposed to be a Couture show. The expectation is automatically ten times higher, because this is when you, as a designer should go ALL out! Unfortunately, Instead of giving us a stellar collection, they decided It was more important to bring in a bunch of b-list celebrities to make up for the lackluster looks. Meh.
I don't mind couture being simple, which most of these dresses definitely were, but there was just nothing new...I suppose thats why they had celebrities in some kind of last ditch attempt to get people to talk about it, which I guess they are doing jsut not in a positive way

The final model (the large wedding-esque dress with a viel, "Look 59") is named Ajok Madel and it's a pity they covered her face. She overall has beautifully soft, round features that you cant help but find endearing, and a very cute nose.
