The 19's look even better in person. The 2020, 2500 coming out next year have a different look that the 19 1/2 tons. I saw a picture of a 2020, 2500 on TLD Trucks a couple weeks ago.

Happy to hear this! I was a fan of the half tons from the jump, but the HD version took me a few days of looking to warm up to it. What really changed my opinion was the release of the high country trim level with the different grill. I’m a believer. Even more exciting to me is the new V8 GM is introducing in the 2020 HD. Can’t wait to hear specs. Im sure it will be impressive since it will be competing with Ford’s 7.0 V8 in the Superduty trucks, if they ever release it..
I bought one about a month ago. Trail Boss has the 8 speed. 10 speed is only available in the 6.2L V8, which isn't an option for the Trail Boss. My big negatives a month in, the auto/stop/start have to hit the button every time you start the truck, it hesitates too much when you pull out if you don't. Also, terrible gas mileage, not sure how they made the truck lighter by 400 lbs, put new tech in the engine, and the mileage is worse than ever. Also, too quiet after a cold start. I may put on a new exhaust, you can hardly tell the truck is on sometimes. But I concur with most of Mike's comments. Very smooth and quiet on the highway, even with mud tires.
@@mcf3778 Nah, I need a truck, I don't trust a Ram, and a Ford is made like a beer can. So I'll stick with this one til there's something better out there.
I haven't really been a fan of push start buttons in cars or trucks. I love turning my key in my truck and know it is my hand causing the connections to be made and the engine to turn over. Just the rawness of sensing that I'm "manually" turning it on is something special especially with a loud exhaust.

Joshua Ebanks it’s GM, they’re cheap and make overpriced trucks. They used a damn lift block in a 50k truck instead of engineering something better. Soon they’ll be even worse when they start producing their vehicles in China where their biggest market is.
I recently reviewed a 2018 Ford F150 Platinum, on my channel and having come from a 2009 Ford Expedition, I can totally agree with you on the technology leaps. It's really astounding how much these new trucks are basically luxury cars from a few years ago on the inside.

Yeah GM usually uses little design cues from previous generations of their trucks. For example, the 2014-15 Silverado was made to look like the mid-90's C/K1500 truck. The 2016-18 Silverado has a lot of similarities to the 99 Silverado too.
Wanting a 19 Silverado LTZ with 3.0L Duramax. and Baja kit's suspension, dream truck. Make sure your truck has rear fender liners, this one for whatever reason did not... gonna help with that road noise.

I love the look of the new silverado, but the new silverado HD is another story... 🤢. I’d personally go for the GMC Sierra HD variant solely based on that.
I really like the 2019 Silverado, especially the LTZ. However, some things such as the button tailgate and the auto start stop/DFM are making me lean towards the tundra. I guess no video can substitute for actually looking at both and deciding. Great video!
I have had my 2019 Zr2 for about a year . Love the Swiss army usage it has, easier mobility driving & parking; but every now & then I wish I had more cabin space of a Silverado
I think the Ram doesn't have the auto 4wd feature which is a deal breaker. Nothing worse then driving on slippery roads and the back end is all over the place. A lot of times regular 4wd is no good unless roads are completely covered in snow

Nope. Ford's 4WD uses trash IWE's. So every winter they inevitably fail and leave you without 4WD, so you end up making a couple dealer visits every winter for new IWE's since they can't get the system to hold up. Constant vacuum leaks, solenoid issues, leaky check valves, etc. All of which result in damaged IWE's. I know at least 3 guys that have each had to have them replaced 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. Old school vacuum assist junk with hub locks that use too many cheap plastic and pot metal parts. Ford also weakened the 2015-present F-150's IFS. The suspension used to be much heavier built, using forged steel components. Now all the parts are weaker (and cheaper) thin stamped steel parts. Then there's that bed. Aluminum is fine if it's thick enough. Ford went too thin with the aluminum on the F-150 to save weight and money. They knew it wasn't thick enough. Yay another CZcamsr that I like to watch posted. But its about cars/trucks and I dont need to think about cars/trucks because I rolled my jeep this morning.
Review the Ram Rebel!
The front end is too ugly bro.
The White looks DAMN GOOD
It does but I think all black with that black grill would look sexy.
Should consider getting a dark color, maybe metallic gray 2500 that would match the black front, but still have the different color offset and not be just all black, cause we all know having a all black vehicle is just a pain in the ass to keep clean. Either way I love the new look of the Silverados. Got my vote.👍
Great video! I want to lease one now! Can't decide on color just yet....
