Second of all, if you mean that why make kids if you are in a crisis, then let me tell you. People were living a considerably happy life before Taliban took over, and their crisis happened after. Also, you were once a child (and probably are), so how would you feel if you're parents gave you away. I honestly can't stand people like you.
As an American who gets 250$ worth of food stamps a month........this breaks my heart. I literally cried watching this. Why as a planet do we let things like this happen??

The families in this video do not have the fortune of living in a government that takes $250 of other citizen's tax money *each month* to give to them, even when they are so poor. The $250/m you're getting doesn't get pulled out of thin air. It has to be taken from someone else to be given to you. If 4 of you gave your $250 handout just for 1 month directly to 1 of these families, or went 50% hungrier than your current situation just for 1 month to achieve this in 2 months, 1 family would not have to sell their child for $1K to survive the winter. They mention in the video that things have gotten VERY expensive and thus feeding themselves is exponentially more costly than even before the Taliabn took over. Prices go up in any country - not just Afghanistan, when everyone demands more for their goods, demand for mininum wage to go up, and want everything made in the US. Stuff become unaffordable, and the government cannot keep printing money to create wealth. Wealth is not created - it is passed around. There is no magic. Even when millionares donate several millions to one of those 'charities,' most of the money would be wasted through the hiring of inefficient administrative staff spending millions to employ idiots to process the donation $ where the cost of doing so practically exceeds the value of the donation, thus resulting in little or no value being handed down - assuming the money is lost through stupidity and inefficiency and not corruption. When a population allows a dictator, communist leader or terrorist group to take reign, stuff like this happens. When countries cause havoc and try to take over and then leave a country in shambles after years of uninvited intervention, stuff like this happens. This video will bring in a lot of advertisement $, but that likely won't be donated to these families. It will go into feeding the people and foundation who traveled there to make this video. Notice there's no donation link in the description of this video - just tons of links for how to subscribe to their channel. Sure, it brings awareness, but it won't change the situation for those in these videos. They could have easily added a donation link to a reputable charity and we could see how many people who made comments like yours would spare a penny. To answer your question - this is how this planet lets things like this happen.
How can you afford Internet if you can't afford food? Just asking because I've done without a lot in order to buy groceries. I've seen people on food stamps eat better than what I could afford. I'm never going to be there with my hand held out for government food. To each his own, but I'd be ashamed to take handouts if I can afford Internet.

Afghanistan is such a beautiful country. Beautiful clothes, people, food looks delicious, and the landscape is simply breathtaking. It's a shame that so many sick things are going on there, just like in most countries.

Banks closed withdrawals overnight, and many were forced out of their homes. In fact, those who are educated, but not rich-from-corruption, are likely to be in these situations. If a terroritst group stripped you of your home, your banks and assets overnight, and you had to run away due to being a threate to a terrorist group, condoms would not have saved you from this years ago. In case you missed all of the video, these people are not poor in a random country where others are doing well.

This is very sad and the sadness in her eyes is beyond bareable. If I could scoop her up and take her away from this situation. The world knows that girl children are a commodity, and bad people use that to take them and families are desperate. Why can't these people see that their children are assets not just the boys but the girls also. I think that most of these children would rather be hungry with their families, rather than hungry as a slave. This Taliban uses fear to manipulate the people and they aren't hungry are they like the people they rule over.

Just lying to the camera. The girls become domestic servants, baby sitter. Often the first wife or other members of family will beat her for "disobedience" or for just child like behaviours. The man will have physical relations early on even if he waits, other types of touching etc will happen.

My heart breaks appart when I see these girls. Had 3 boys and always wanted to educate and give an opportunity to a girl, the girl never come. I woudl take one no doubt, no questions, in my house with only a couple of conditions: not being distracted by the westerners vicious and stupidity flooding in our youth and she working hard her education to become whatever she wanted to be with a dream of maybe one day returning and making a change around. We live difficult times.
