  • The Bible states that soon after King David conquered the kingdom of Edom, he established a series of garrisons in the region. But is it true? Have such Davidic-era fortresses been discovered in the territory belonging to biblical Edom?
For today’s program, Let the Stones Speak host Brent Nagtegaal traveled to Ein Hatzeva, located in southern Israel, to interview Israel Antiquities Authority archaeologist Dr. Tali Erickson-Gini at what she believes is one of the many military outposts dating to King David’s time.

When I was in Israel on a small group trour they took us for a couple of digs and they said that they could dig down anywhere and find something. So we helped too and found some little oil lamps. Everything has to be turned in to the local gobernment. They found a tunnek too and we climbed into the tunnek but it was very scary and tight and I couldn’t wait to get out

The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach (The Real Word of G_d) with a lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did! Christianity lies! NO Hebrew/Jew was ever named Jesus, nor John, nor especially James. There is no letter J in the Hebrew alephbet nor does any of the Hebrew letters even make a J sound. Try actually reading the scriptures where G_d gave the Torah and the Commandments to Mosche and the Children/Nation of Israel on Mt. Sinai. G_d specifically told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never veer to the right nor left of the Torah/Tanach! Never!!! Do you understand what that means! G_d also told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never accept anybody else's religion! Never!!! Do you understand what that means? The One True Creator G_d also warned not to add to, nor subtract from the Torah/Tanach, but Christianity did it anyway. Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what The One True Creator G_d actually said.

Amazing interview. This chain of fortresses reminds me of the towers built along the New Jersey and Delaware shore to watch for Nazi warships during WWII. Using that reasoning, every American should give all they have to the Native Americans living today. If you read the old covenant God made with the Israelites (Judah was only one of the tribes), there were clear conditions they had to fulfill in order to continue living in the land. When they strayed from God and worshipped idols, God caused a foreign power to invade and remove them from his land (Assyria, Babylon, Romans). Stating historical facts is not antisemitism in case you were thinking of labeling me that.

@@brandonfrith1549God made his covenant with Abraham first, before Judah existed. starting in Genesis 17 through circumcision. The covenant carried on through Isaac (not Ishmael). He then says in Genesis 22 that because Abraham would have been willing to offer his only son (Isaac) as a sacrifice, He will make of Him a great nation that will bless the entire world. Through Jesus Christ, Christians are also spiritual descendants of this covenant: Genesis 22 (16-18).Then in Genesis 24:7 Abraham says, (in case it is not already clear to you,)" The Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my birth, and who spoke to me, and who swore to me saying, 'To your descendants I will give this land', He will send an angel before you..." There is no people on earth, whether they be American Indians, Muslims, or Aborigines who can point to anything even coming close to that covenant. Secondly even when Israel was disobedient God did not break His covenant with them. He punished them through exile and diaspora, yes, but even though they were unfaithful God was faithful to his word. What's more there was always a remnant of Jews in the land even when they were dispersed and after the Romans changed the name to Palestina in 135 AD after the bar Kochbar revolt, in which about a million Jews were killed.
If you want t blame anyone for the suffering of the common Palestinian citizen, blame their leadership who have had chance after chance to establish an independent Palestinian state and each time refused. Why? The leadership hates the Jews and wants them wiped out completely. That's what "river to the sea" means, in case you didn't know that either. The people continue to be used as misled pawns in the cruel game their leadership uses to play the victim to the world, when it is they themselves who have created this victimhood status as a means of controlling the narrative. All you do when you believe them is buy into their lies. Quit doing it. You're not as well informed as you think you are.

@@brandonfrith1549 Completely false: Israel is unique among nations. YHVH God never deeded the continent of North America to the Native American tribes, who migrated here from the Asian continent to begin with. YHVH made an unbreakable covenant with Abraham to deed this land to the Abrahamic line through Isaac and Jacob for all time. God caused the promised land to deteriorate into a barren, desolate wasteland during the long diaspora - to keep the Gentiles out - and He has allowed it to re-bloom only under the hands of those He has returned home. There is no national equivalent to Israel, nor an equivalent title of land ownership. The Hebrew tribes entered into an agreement to be YHVH’s set-apart people, fully informed of the consequences for disobedience and the blessings for obedience. Their conquests were each the result of consequence for failure to honor their agreement with YHVH; although He may temporarily remove them from their homeland to discipline them, He has never and will never deed that land to anyone else.

If this is going to cause an attempt to overthrow modern day countries because somehow discovering the history of an area has legal and constitutional implications for the present day ownership and/or state implications… I think let’s just leave it at tourism and education regarding the past. I think the world is now shaking out the whole idea of giving a people ownership of land based on a religious text, and anything that occurred outside of current context. The conclusion of this segment of history is getting very tense… and perhaps the speculation of “end days” and other religous ideology serves to be self fulfilling.

Good day, thank you for sharing this information. Has anyone considered the fact that the sites appear in a snake like alignment if you connect them, using a connect the dot type pattern? Also any chance the towers represent stars in the heavens as well? The wall behind you during the interview looks like a mosaic type image as well similar to some found in Peru where it appears they placed various sized and shaped stones to create images within the wall. Wondering what it looks like without the two of you sitting in front of it. Maybe the towers are land markers once used to map navigation at sea using fixed locations and the heavens positioning at each? When I first saw the lineup of them in the drawing it reminded me of the constellation Hydra immediately. It’s very similar to the snake depiction that appears to represent Hydra on pages 22 and 23 of the “Let The Stones Speak: Seals Of Isaiah And King Hekiziah Discovered”, within the map of ancient Jerusalem. It’s just interesting that Hydra is a constellation associated with water as well as the sites depicting such are. It’s well known in North America constellations we’re laid out by the Mound Builders so why not in the Holy Lands via construction layouts with intention. Gods Blessings 🙏🏼

I just read the book of Obadiah, a tiny Bible book where God expresses his wrath against Esau - Edom - Timnah and God promises to erase it FOREVER. That would make a good show for you, to document that erasure of these people. Supposedly they lived in the mountain cliffs like and eagle's nest and God enumerates their sins including pride and rejoicing over Israel's/Jacob's misery. Jacob and Easy were brothers of course and God said "I hated Easy but loved Jacob. The book of Josher says Easy killed Nimrod. Easy was a mighty hunter in his own right.

They didn't really rule Canaan. Canaan was full of city/states that were vassals of Egypt. They paid tribute. They had their own laws, governments and and gods. They often fought against each other and Egypt didn't really care as long as they kept getting their tribute. Egypt maintained certain outposts in the Levant for the purpose of collecting these tributes and maintaining a presence. One was Beth Shean at the extreme SE end of the Jezreel Valley. If I remember right, it had roughly 1000 troops and their families.

Christ means the anointed one. He is not the anointed one to scientific archeologists, especially Jewish ones. BCE means before The Common Era, or CE for the Common Era. It just doesn’t sound very scientific to say before the anointed one, it sounds religious, which it is.

I wonder if the Israelites that occupied these fortifications were made up of both civilians and military personnel, if some of these forts also had farmers of livestock and agriculture to be present in order to keep the personnel fed. Whether these farmers surrounded the strongholds, or were a short walking distance from such, they may have been present.

There were 12 tribes of Israel. Jacob, whose grandfather was Abraham, had his name changed by God to Israel had a 12 sons. Those 12 sons are the namesakes of the 12 tribes that were brought out of Egypt by God's power. The Jews who occupy the land today called Israel are just part of one of Jacobs/Israels family. A son called Judah and Benjamin his younger brother. There's a lot of people that have no idea that there were 12 tribes who were cousins that inhabited and the land of Israel. It's a great history. It can be found in the book of Genesisl It's a great read! I'd recommend listening to it through an audiobook of Genesis. There's several versions out there. Shalom!

@@CanadianVacations the tribes ended by 70AD, along with all thier genealogical records, which were destroyed when the temple went up in flames with them. No one can prove or assert thier tribal descent from "genealogy" since then. These national and tribal pedigrees were important to the nation for any messianic claimant had to prove his claims by coming through the tribe of Judah, and from the royal line of David. According to the rabbis they are still waiting for Messiah to come. So that begs the question. How will thier Messiah prove anything biblically to them? They full well knew from their own scriptures He had to be born in Bethlehem, He had to come before the second temple was destroyed, He had to come before the scepter had departed from Judah, He had to come from Davids royal line and He had to come before Daniels 70 week prophecy expired. So since you people love to follow the blind, who dont like thier own scriptures and obliterate them, and add to the confusion by claiming the nation is the Messiah, or that King Hezekiah was, or perhaps King Agrippa was , or the gentile Persian King Cyrus was the Messiah.
This is absurdity heaped upon absurdity, lies upon untruth. If they claim to be the Messiah and say Jesus never was, and claim He never brought "world peace", then where is thier "world peace" if they claim they are collectively the "suffering servant"? Where is thier peace? They have brought nothing but war, so how can they accuse Jesus of the same thing?

Ierusalema, Jordan, Damascus, Bethlehema, Hebron are ALL in South Africa. Our Savior was murdered during the occupation apartheid in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Jacob's name was never changed to Israel, his name is Akobi and means firstborn. It's unfortunate the level of deception in our world today all for selfish reasons. That is a standard that is unreasonable. No archeologist would require that kind of proof. We have multiple attestations of the house of David. He existed. Plain and simple.
Egypt mummified their kings. Israel and many of these other nations did no such thing. Egypt was also in a dry climate which helps preserver things. Most of the rest of the near east are not. We don't have the graves of most of the Assyrian or Babylonian kings either so I guess they didn't exist.
