How about the electromagnetic 24V valve? How do you connect that to the circuit?

Hello!
Small air pumps only need to connect the relay and plug into the M8 port. Solenoid 24v valves are generally used for large air pumps and oil-water separators. The inlet end is connected to the oil-water separator, the outlet end is connected to the machine, and the 2pin canble is plugged into M8.

Does the relay enable the air assist to only turn on when needed? I hooked mine up and the compressor did not come on but when I bypass the relay it does.

Yes, if you choose to use an atmospheric pump, you can connect the air assist directly to M8 without using a relay. You only need to set M8 to turn on the air assist in ligtburn.
