I've watched alot of players come and go over the years with me pulling for the Crimson Tide. I seen players like Derrick Thomas, Cornelius Bennett, Siran Stacey, Bobby Humphrey and his son Marlon Humphrey, Kevin Turner, Tarrant Lynch, David Palmer, Curtis Brown, Michael Proctor, Lemanski Hall, Eric Curry, John Copeland, Antonio Langham, George Teague, the list goes on. But I don't think I will miss those players as much as I will miss Bryce Young, Will Anderson Jr, and one of the best place kickers the Crimson Tide has ever had in Will Reichard. And I know they didn't complete that national title run like they wanted. But I understand that there were some deficiencies with this squad. And it all started with Agiya Hall, and Billingsley. And the rest of them hit the exodus mode after this season was over. I think when the pandemic didn't allow coaches to assess their recruits as well as they could have back when Saban recruited alot of those kids from the '21-'22 clssses. Plus we know Saban will gladey let all of those players check out when they haven't put forth the effort and are expecting to start on day one. Haters think that NIL, the portal, and old age is going to catch up to Saban, and that the 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2015 were only his "real and truly earned" national titles as a head coach. And we've seen it before with Saban and we've seen it with the Alabama football program time and time again, that they will do the damage that was intended for all their opponents this past season. His ability to extend plays is unique. Something that can work in the Nfl as well. Im thinking of Pat Mahomes or Steve Rodgers at its best
