did you try the app yet? it's not working in my river 2, if already try it how do you make it work?

Yes, and it works. I just had a problem the first time I tried to update the software. Second try was successful. However, sometimes my application doesn't want to see it. So I just restart the app or search for devices within the app. Make sure you have Bluetooth turned on on your phone and a 2.4 Wi-Fi connection on your router.

If both Bluetooth and 2.4 Wi-Fi are working, there's something wrong with your River 2. In this case, you should contact the store to resolve the issue.

Anyway, don't give up on River 2. It's a great piece of technology. It helps me a lot to charge things and run the floor fan. Let me know how it goes.
