Thinking of making some suspension upgrades to your RV? Here's a summary of what we've done: (1) Roadmaster Exact Center steering stabilizer, (2) Gabriel shocks, (3) Sumo Springs, and (4) Motion Control Units.

    Hi ya,
Enjoyed the video. My big concern is how all these mods affect your warranty. I have not got a definitive answer as of yet. Did you guys research that at all? I would love to do these suspension mods.
    Thank you for the videos!!!
    Jim

Good question. I have not researched, but I would assume that if the parts did not affect the issue at hand, then the warranty would remain intact.

@@ClassCBroads I understand your reasoning, I guess I am just paranoid as the air and suspension systems are so critical (and expensive). Not so worried about shocks or Sumo springs, more the cutting of air lines. I’d love to put in a manual or automatic air shock dump as well but I’m handcuffed by the warranty (in my mind anyway LOL).

Whats the verdict, did this help with roll and steering stabilization?

We did the MCUs, along with Gabriel Shocks and Sumo Springs around the same time. I was recovering from surgery so we weren't really able to test drive our Entegra Accolade after each modification to really test how well each modification worked. It is probably worth nothing that in the all of online forums, all of the cool kids seem to agree that these modifications are worth doing, and we’ve found nothing that counters those opinions. As a passenger, I now spend less time saying “whoa!” on our trips than before the upgrades. I think the most noticeable difference is on the turns to uneven streets and driveways.

Nice - im getting ready to install the quick dump valves as well as these mcus. Aiming to do shocks down the line. Cant wait to see the difference. Also - what did you use to clean the line

@@Youvondie We recently got the parts for the dump valve; just haven't had time to install it yet. Kasie used Goof-Off to clean the lines.
      Good luck with the projects!

Levelers are no substitute for jack stands.
It would take three seconds to say your last words
Your relying on a lot of stuff that is known to fail ,,to not fail.

Thank you for that advice. That is a great point as safety should be the #1 priority. Please note that in our case, we were camping at a commercial campground with sites that were already very level to begin with. We had leveled the coach like we always do. That means that ALL tires are on the ground at ALL times. The levelers are lowered to help release the air out of the rear air bags. The levelers were not hyper-extended or anything like that for the project. In 2+ years, we've never had the levelers slip or anything like that when camping. I get (and appreciate) your point though.

@@ClassCBroads thanks for replying . I have a 2007 Dynamax 340 GT super c and am considering the air bag valves . I still don’t understand how they would work. The line goes in the leveler valve which is closed off.
When it sways I suppose the open and close.
I think I will mount a camera under there and observe. Any how thanks I subscribed
