The thing i love the most about Messi’s career is that, he won everything so i don’t feel bad that his time as a baller is nearly up or that he’s not the explosive phenom he was in 2008, rather i think fondly of all the unbelievable memories he’s given me for nearly 2 decades and the fact i was there pretty much from the start. He doesn’t owe himself anything and he doesn’t owe us anything, he maximised his god given qualities and we should not feel bad. In a strange way, I’m looking forward to when he retires so we can pay closer attention to who the new guys are and what they bring.
Leo reminds me of Neo in the matrix when he is on the pitch, and the defenders are all Agent Smiths, they never stop coming...He is the one. I think the first words he uttered when he was born were 'I know Football' Can't, take your eyes off of that footwork, astonishing really. Nice job, enjoyed that. 💯👍

winning trophies is the one thing but making revolution is another which for me is much more valuable, i just adore cruyff and ajax academy, and i can't remember any moment when holland or the team hasn't played the real football which we fans like, but what cryuff had done to football is just bigger than any trophy..he simply deserved to win wc, imagine if he played more than one time..still managed to change the whole awarness of football and made a lot people to love it more, which is much respectable

@@salig7950 That is good, but at end of the day, trophies also matter. That's what Cruyff said, beautiful football is useless without trophies and winning trophies without beautiful is boring. So, you got to have a mixture of both, hence the legendary Barcelona team of Messi/Xavi/Iniesta and so on, will remain pinnacle of football, where we got to see beautiful football but also results.
Cruyff was a visionary and it would have been easy for him to see the potential of a young Messi, after all talents like Messi can appear probably once in a lifetime.
RIP to Cruyff, who love Barcelona so much as he too believed in the philosophy that Barcelona is more than a club!
