I like that you’re actually able to do reverse connections which many other scambaiters don’t do. They spend hours talking in character using voice changers etc. and sometimes are able to get bank accounts to report. But you do the most difficult job and I commend you for this. You’re the real deal and I hope to see your popularity grow.

@Mahesh K indeed, each approach has some value, and awareness raising is useful in preventing some people , especially the elderly and vulnerable being tricked and deceived. However, the greed and determination of the scammers isn’t really punished, and they seem to be emboldened by their apparent invincibility to effective challenge and negative consequences of their actions. The fear should be placed on the offender, not on the potential victim and that is what this video seems to show is a possibility with skilled and persistent scambaiters.

You and Jim are the only real channels doing anything about scammers. Most the scambait channels are just using scammers to scam money from youtube viewers at this point. They're all useless. With some experience in corporate communications, I just wanted to add my voice to one of the comments below. When contacting institutions, it's better to identify yourself as an investigator, not a CZcamsr. Alternatively, identifying as an investigator and then noting that some of your work can be viewed on CZcams is fine. Also, when addressing the institution, refer to it by its proper name, or by "you" or "your institution," not "you guys." This is a cold communication, so the more professional you sound, the more likely they are to take this seriously. Excellent work as always, SB!

Ask them how they got started, how they found out about it - go for the source. Asking them ‘why’ is just pestering, you lost control of the conversation immediately.

I doubt that he's really attempting to interview these jerks. He's more concerned with doxxing these guys and shutting down these scammers. Which is really God's work while simultaneously being an uphill battle. But at least more people are aware of these guys, their methods and how to not become a victim.

When you ask someone why they scam someone or do a crime, it's usually because of circumstances that they aren't in control of.
However, these scams, at least to my knowledge are shown to the youth as a get rich quick scheme and when they see that their actions have no consequences they think they're untouchable and the cycle continues.
Most of these guys tend to be from small towns and villages hoping to make it big but again, when they see that their actions have no consequences they get confident and try to make as much money as they can.
