its called white hat hacking, vs black hat hacking. This is a reference to western films where the protagonist of the film often wore a white cowboy hat and the antagonist wears a black one. White hat hacking is very much a thing and is largely used in cybersecurity.

@@Doost311 more like grey hat, white hat hacking example would be a penetration team doing a job and reporting their findings to the company or security reachers finding about or vulnerability and reporting it to the company that they were given permission to do this.
I've worked as a customer support executive in a reputative multinational company and first thing we learned to be patient, humble and kind towards customers even if they're at fault. How people can believe they're real customer care representative like literally look how aggressive and rude they're!

Do you think if the right people in India were given the a package of evidence they could do something with it. I know India has laws against this kind of stuff they should contract with this guy to collect evidence turn it over to them.

If I was being rescued from a scam id be so grateful sometimes these victims I think must be in shock. They have no idea how hard u worked to save them.. even the viewers we let out a huge relief when they get saved, on behalf of all the saved victims thank you thank you is not enough. ❤️
I think the same. I guess many victims aren't the brightest of people (not meant as an insult) and they can't digest what's happening at that moment. And that's how the scammers get their success, finding folks who are slow, gullible or just too trusting.
The only crime I see here is that you don't have over 2 mil subs.
Major crime, I dont think law enforcement agencies are aware of this fact

I'm honestly not a fan of the victims' reaction to someone literally saving their gullible asses out of hundreds or even thousands of dollars scams... "ok". Well, it's still extremely satisfying even though listening to the calls makes me angry, what some people will do for money

Unfortunately, for good reason, many people think of scammers when they think of India or hear an Indian accent. This is going to bite their country where it hurts.

Although these scammers are from India, they don't represent the entirety. Just some low life scum bags trying for easy money by exploiting innocent people.
As sad and bad as it is,for the scammers to be Taking a vantage of innocent people and their money, they too are being scammed because 95% of the money goes to the boss, and they don’t live lavish live styles. Sensible people in India hate these guys too, they’re putting a damper on their technological reputation to the rest of the world and they’re a developing nation in an increasingly multinational, interconnected world. No No No..it never gets stale! When seeing through their own security camera their slumped shoulders is a tonic. What is a little surprising is the victims do not seem happy after you tell them. I suppose they are in shock and psychologically antagonistic to those who woke them up.

I remember when I received this email from fake amazon support team. Rather than contacting them. I logged in to my Amazon account and checked the order history. And there was no such transaction. Always use the official form of way rather than answering these scumbags.

And so the boss was finding it "not profitable". GOOD!!!! That is absolutely fantastic news. As I see it - and I've been saying this for a while now - the only time these scam call centres/thieves' dens are going to go away is when they become unprofitable. So anything that helps make it less profitable is good!

i think the comedic ones have their place but apart from Hoax Hotels very unique style and Lewis Tech being one of the big ones to popularise swearing back at em in Hindi and being more lowkey, most are very samey and obnoxious and basically try to be like the already very hard to watch Kitboga

It's easy to judge, but if you're sufficiently cunfused about things which are very new (relatively, for you), such as computers, Internet, credit cards, apps, etc, it's not all that strange. These people probably accept a lot that seems strange to them every day. And when you're scared as well, which these guys make sure you are, with their threats and bad tempers, the calculating and logical part of the brain "shuts down" for many people. So yeah, very tragic, but not all that strange.

For everyone watching, there’s only one solution to this : Hang up immediately if you hear an Indian accent trying to be anything else. It’s very unique, thick and easy to pick up even for old people. If there are no victims to scam then there’s no money in it, and they will shut down automatically. Even though scam baiters are doing God’s work, nothing actually happens on the ground because of two reasons : 1. Corruption 2. It’s somebody else’s money and not Indians’. Awareness is the only way to get rid of this issue. And I say this as an Indian. There are legit call centres here that are losing legit business because of these guys.
Actually hurting legit business there might not be a bad idea. It might light a fire to get serious about scammers
Im allways shocked when i hear people truely belive that giftcards are a legit way to pay back a refund to a company as amazon or so. I mean someone would think that noone ever falls for such thing but they truely do.
You forgot a option; figure out a way to kill the scammers. Ignore the fact they might cry about having a family, for who knows how many other families they may have ruined, just figure a way to turn them from living to dead and eventually the rest will get the memo and leave

The only down side that this help and rescue this hero gives (absolutely he is a hero!)... the only down side is knowing that for everyone he saves there are many others. So I love how he takes down this scam corps network in it's entirety each time. Honestly, if I had resources to do so I'd give this guy a fund and say build your team go at it as you will.
