You made the original video? You need to do more research. You're wrong about Leicester having no money when they won the premiership. Tottenham's logo isn't a chicken. Arsenal's invincible season was 2004 not in the 90's. And for a country who butchered the English language because it is too advanced for you (honestly - where else would a 'side-walk' be if not to the side of a road, or were else would you wear 'eye-glasses' if not your eyes) you should learn how things are pronounced, not just butcher it. Historical fact: Everton were one of the original Liverpool teams. When the football league was founded in 1888, Everton and Accrington Stanley represented the Liverpool area. For a few years Everton played at Anfield but a dispute over rent led to the owners building a new ground (Goodison Park, the first purpose built football stadium). The owner of Anfield then formed a new team which became Liverpool FC. If Everton had paid the rent all those years ago their greatest rivals might never have existed! Everton have also spent more years in the top division than any other team, only spending four seasons in the old Second Division (Arsenal have the most *consecutive* seasons in the top division).

In 1992, the Welsh FA created their own competition - the Welsh Premier League - and Wales-based team had to decide whether to move to this competition, or remain as part of the English league system - the largest Welsh clubs (such as Swansea, Cardiff and Newport County) stayed as part of the English system.

Even if you go for one of the big names, perhaps keep Crystal Palace as some mid-table interest. They are known as The Eagles after all, so significant American symbolism there. And their name is derived from a spectacular building (not an actual palace) so there's some interesting history. Unfortunately the building burned down, and that hints at the sort of experience you might have as a fan. Starting the season well, then staging a spectacular collapse; losing to teams they should beat, then beating the current champions: It can be a roller-coaster ride, and perhaps more interesting - and frustrating - than a team that's glued to the top of the table.

I think a commen way to get a connection to a team you follow and love is by watching matches. You will properly get some favorite players you like to watch, and then you will start to follow their teams. At some point you will start to connect to a certain team and then you want to learn more about the team and players. Of course it could also be that you connect to a specific style a team plays with. Or something else, like a smaller team does it way better than expected. Or a combination of different things. One thing is for sure, a growing interest in a specific team can happen after one match or over a period of time. Just like love.

He’s spot on with his explanation of Spurs 😂 but let me try sell my team to you for a second.
It’s very easy to select a team at the top, if you choose city, Liverpool or Chelsea you’re likely going to watch the team win every single game very comfortably, it’s like eating cake, it’s fun at first but it gets very boring very quickly. The reason Sports is so popular across the world is the drama, the story lines, the highs and lows. The good times aren’t quite as good without the bad to compare it to and no team epitomises this quite like Tottenham Hotspur.
We don’t do anything by the book, we could be 3-0 up in a game and throw it away and lose 4-3 in the last ten minutes, the other side of the coin we can win a game against a team no one expected us to (we just beat the champions Man City at the weekend, in the glorious stadium that you mentioned) the point I’m making is there is never a dull moment and you’re guaranteed entertainment which is what football is all about at the end of the day. We’re an up and coming team especially in Asia and the states with 314 supporters clubs globally many of those in America 🇺🇸.
It’s quite the rollercoaster and if I’m being honest it’s likely to crash into a wall at the end but it’s never boring 😂

I think the big thing if you're not a local is finding a style of play that you enjoy watching. There are some teams that play a fairly negative style (Wolves and Burnley spring to mind) that it's hard to love as an outsider, especially compared to a much more exciting and dynamic team like Liverpool. Some teams for years prided themselves on playing the 'right way' (West Ham, Everton, Spurs, Liverpool) and Arsenal changed to be like that in the 90s when Wenger arrived so they are probably more likely to keep playing nice football in future, but it can always change. Chelsea are kind of transitioning away from the very negative style they had under Mourinho, so they aren't as dour a spectacle as they used to be, while Spurs are not the attractive open side they used to be after Mourinho managed them for a while.
In terms of romance and human interest, it's hard not to pull for Leicester, it was a very humble squad that pulled together to win a championship ahead of many teams with maybe about 3 times their budget for player wages, including Marc Albrighton who lost his mother in-law in a terrorist attack ahead of the season they won the title. It's the antithesis of Man City where the club is essentially a PR operation for a questionable regime that are constantly pushing the edges of what they can get away with financially. Abramovich at Chelsea got his money in questionable circumstances but there doesn't feel like there is an ulterior motive to him, it feels like he is just indulging his love for the game (and is now selling up because of the crisis in Ukraine)

Remember the movie Fever Pitch, with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon, where he's a Red Sox fan? Well, it's the American version of an English movie of the same name (which was based on a book of the same name). In the English movie, the main character is an Arsenal fan, and it's about the 1988-89 season, when Arsenal won a league title after 18 years. In fact, not only that 1970-71 win also happened after 18 years without a league title, but right now the last league title of Arsenal was in... 2003-04 (when they were unbeaten), which means that if they're champions this season it would also be after 18 years.

Great video! This seasons probably gonna be the most competitive season yet, many clubs with great squad and top players in europe coming to play in this league. I predict all four teams in the top4 will compete for the league title (rarely happens) Exciting!
I want to add my own little (not little) guide for you, teams I predict will get top 6 not in order. These are my opinion btw. (some of these may be contreversial)
Chelsea: Great team. Rich club with great players. Plays entertaining football. Competitor for the league title and definitely will finish top 4 in the league. Also will go far in the UCL (current champions)
Man united: The biggest and most successful club in the country, (and probably has the most haters because of it.) Has great history and character. Finally a good team after years of rebuilding but still not as good as chelsea and man city, slightly. This season is the season to finally compete and win some trophies.
Competitor for the league title, definitely top 4.
    (Rivals: liverpool, man city, arsenal)
Liverpool: Up there with the most successful club in the country (rivals with man united on whos the best club) Great culture n history. Just won the league 2 seasons ago after 30 years without winning. Has proud n passionate fans (and sometimes gets a little bit annoying).
Strong team, play fast attacking football, title contender, and probably top four.
    (Rivals: man united, everton)
Man city: The noisy neighbors of man united. The team to beat. Rich owners with the best players and the most expensive team in the league. Domestically been the most successful team in recent history. To be brutally honest, other than their own fans, nobody really cares about them really, it feels like they use cheat code and just spend so much money. (well when you won the lottery you can buy whatever you want, we dont really care)
Such a powerful team, plays great entertaining football, favourites to win not just the league but every competition theyre competing in.
    (Rivals: man united)
Arsenal: A clown of the big clubs. Massive club, biggest in london (bigger than chelsea and others) with great history and success. But has been a laughing stock for the past decade and just keeps getting worse. People just love to see the outburst of their fans after they lose a game. Doubts about the manager and doubts about the players. Sad times for them but fun for the rest of fans to follow.
Boring pragmatic football, wont make top 4. 6th is a good progress after finishing 8th for 2 consecutive seasons.
    (Rivals: tottenham)
Leicester: the “best of the rest” team. Better than teams other than the top 4 but just not good enough to get top 4. A well run club. But never as big and rich as the rest mentioned. A neutral club where nobody dislikes. Even when they won the league, everyone loved it, what a fairytale story.
Plays good football, good players, will sit comfortably btwn top4 and midtable.

You need to watch the Scottish Premiership!! Last year was insane with St. Johnstone (a relatively smaller club) winning a cup double, which only the 3 biggest teams in the country have ever managed to do. Rangers won the League title to stop Celtic winning 10 league titles in a row and it was all-round awesome. This year looks even more competitive with Hearts and Dundee returning to the league, bringing back both the Edinburgh and Dundee derby's. It's already started and it's already been awesome. Plus we still play the worlds oldest football trophy, the Scottish Cup, as we literally invented the game. Definitely worth checking out.

For the live thing. Most people who a fans of teams follow them on social media or have friends who also support that team. So if they dont watch live they will probably find out what the score is and that takes away a lot of the fun.

Yes! Pick Chelsea! I’ve been following them since 2012 and oh boy, everyday is a new drama with this club, be it good or bad drama, but it’s so worth it!
Try looking for the story of these teams, if you identify with any players in there, the colors, the fan base… all of this can be taken into account when choosing a team.
I chose Chelsea because during the Champions League final we played against Bayern Munich and we ended up winning on penalties and nobody had faith that we would win it. Pundits and other fan bases always consider us the underdogs, we’re never the favorites for anything and most of them hates us. That’s definitely one of the things that makes cheering for Chelsea so good and exciting!

One casual team you won’t of heard of is AFC Wimbledon who play in league 1. 2 leagues below the premier league. The history is our club was taken away and now is completely fan owned and just moved back into new 32 million pound stadium home in Wimbledon after 30 years. At least they are everyone’s second team

Please don’t pick one of the Rich 6 clubs. When someone chooses one of them I just think it’s lazy. Most clubs have a rich heritage and all have their hopes and aspirations. The fan bases for most clubs are big. Don’t be hijacked by all the media space given to the Rich 6. A choice outside the usual six is more interesting; Unless you’re choosing a club for silverware (Spurs excepted)!

Oh yeah because watching Burnley on their next 0-0 playing 442 hoof it up the pitch is more interesting than supporting a BIG 6 club. People can support whatever team they want for whatever reason. That ain't lazy it's just whatever team resonates with you.

It’s lazy in as much that the Rich 6 dominate the media so people don’t look beyond them. Not saying they shouldn’t pick a Rich 6 but look beyond that before choosing. If I was a neutral now and looking for a club I’d probably go for Leeds Utd or Leicester City, as I support neither saying this pains me. It’s refreshing to hear of someone supporting a club different from the usuals.

One potential cause of confusion for ,though probably momentary ,is that teams don't necessarily appear in the same colours every week. Each team has a "home" strip i.e colours that they play in at their home ground, and at least one away strip that they can use when playing away from home in case of matching the home team's colours.
