Metal Slug Advance is an action shooter game from the popular series Metal Slug. In it, you are a recruit for Peregrine Falcon, training on an unnamed island with limited equipment. All seems to be going as planned, but when General Morden's troops invade the island, captures many of your allies, and attempts to build a base, you must rise to the task of fending off the approaching army.
There are some key differences between Metal Slug Advance and other games of the Metal Slug series. In this game, you have a health meter, so damage boosts can be used to save time. Also, there are collectable cards which provide bonuses or upgrade power of certain attacks.
This run aims for 100% completion, which completes all stages and collects all the cards. This requires replaying many stages to accomplish different goals. There is also one death in the movie, because one card is obtained by dying. See the submission comments for more details.

That’s because… the neo geo is weaker than the GBA actually, but due to SNK not knowing the GBA as much as the Neo geo, they had to cut some corners and that _no sound compartment_ really dampened the entire game
Seriously, SNK be doing black magic with KOF 03 and metal slugs

It's still quite simple to see what they did to recreate the sound and music of the arcades since the GBA has a similar sound chip to the SNES where the Developers themselves had to make their own sounds for their music
Although some Developers struggled to make their ports sound good (a Exemple Being Super Mario Advance 2)
Other managed to make their games sounds sometimes better than the SNES (a Exemple being this game and Pac-Man Arrangement which In my opinion sounds better than the original Arcade Version)

To me, it will forever be funny that mechanically and graphically Metal Slug Advance is not that different than the PS versions of the OG games due how much downgrade they had to do to the games
