Black Knight + Majora's Mask + Speed support actually have a much higher stat line than Akuma, and is also faster. If you go against a Spiritless opponent, Akuma allows you to deal around 16 times more damage than they would deal to you. But if you use the Black Knight build, you are dealing around 38 more damage than they would deal to you. If you are using an FE fighter, then it becomes more than 40 times. Against any other Spirit build (assuming a good Legendary primary), you would still be dealing significantly more damage to them than they would deal to you, even if you are at type disadvantage.
In all my time playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with spirits (which I almost always do), I found that the most powerful (aka most influential to both dealing and taking damage) would be the Black Knight primary spirit (who has the Armor Knight trait), with a support that also has the Armor Knight trait, and giving Black Knight the Tank Style buff. Even with the fact that the same skill being stacked onto itself will slightly weaken it, the Armor Knight trait is so strong, that it eclipses other traits, so the stacking power damp is negligible. You can also use a Fire Emblem fighter to obtain a Series Boost, which increases your attack and defense slightly. There's also a boost against Grab-type fighters due to being an Attack-type, but at that point, it's out of your control, and likely doesn't matter as much anyhow. Another set I use more often is a 3-slot series boost spirit with trade-off ability, autoheal, and tank style. You'll be slightly slower and jump lower, but the speed decrease is very small, and the lower jumps can still help for some combos. Autoheal also helps cheese fights, and the trade-off ability makes you feel less like a jerk against your enemies, and gives opponents an actual chance to fight you (lol). Another alternative is to use any 3-slot jump-trait spirit with this setup (such as Mecha-Fiora or, even better, Shaymin), just without Tank Style, so you have a mobility increase, as well as the trade-off ability and autoheal to further increase your power and cheesability. Overall, this IS a good tutorial, and definitely gives you an insane increase in attack power, but pales in comparison to Black Knight's overall power potential.
If you need help beating akuma, here’s a good spirit combo that he mentioned in one of his broken spirit combos video: go to the mysterious dimension and get Medusa. Then enhance her into kid Icarus uprising Medusa. Put on regigigas for super armour and train Medusa in the demon style. Then use ganondorf and give akuma a good fat DORYAH
@@Simon-hs7ik If you don't mind trade-offs then boy have I got the combination for you: Yoshi Hades (Final Form) Majora's Mask Any spirit that increases physical attack (Such as Rock Mario) 60% damage as a trade-off but you are very powerful.
I have a stronger spirit combination for damage it does do more damage but honestly isn’t worth it to me, So you get hades spirit from the spirit board level it up to max and evolve it and then it will have trade off Attack ability give it two more trade off attacks support spirits and add the demon style and then it makes it hit like a truck and it has a really high attack stat normally also but it does make you start with 90 percent and have really low defense which to me makes akuma a better choice but I sometimes use it with lucario with his aura which makes it good with the insane attack buff and joker because at the start his arsene activates immediately
By the way spirits don’t scale as much if you add the same exact boost multiple times so instead for your supports you should have read of ability + a support that boosts whatever character you want to use (physical attacks for donkey king, or weapon attacks for a FE character)
You can also use Hades(evolved form), which has a stronger damage output due to it ability that increases damage AND has 2 slot to increase power by even more, and demon style dojo
The strongest Spirit I have is the Defense-Type Legend Spirit, Sirius who's equipped to my main, Sephiroth and is at Level 99. The one-winged angel also has Aerith and Karel as his Support Spirits. When combined, Sirius and Karel grant Sephiroth double the power of Weapon Attack Up while Aerith heals his damage with her Auto-heal skill, since she and Sephiroth are from the same series and she gives him a boost of Auto-heal while healing his damage. I also have a VERY strong Level 99 Akuma Spirit who I've been using for the much harder challenges in World of Light including on the Spirit Board and DLC Spirit Boards who's learned the Demon Style. I also created my own little Spirit Team for Bowser and Sephiroth for the DLC Spirit Boards. Bowser uses Akuma for the Technical Spirits, Chun-Li and Rodin, the Infinite One with Victini's Hyper Smash Attacks, Mario Tennis' Critical Hit and Ultimate Chimera's Critical Hit for the Neutral Spirits. Sephiroth uses his Sirius, Karel and Aerith Spirits for the Attack-Type Spirits. The Defense Spirits are my favorites, mainly the Legend Defense-Type Spirit Sirius because he has the Weapon Attack Up ability. And I've gotten TONS of Shield Breaks with him without the need to even use Shield Damage. The damage to my opponents thanks to Sirius has even gone up to 200% to even 300% in a matter of seconds. And those same percentages have gone up even higher when I'm playing in Palutena's Temple. PS: I've been using Sirius ever since I had Ultimate and evolved the Spirit in World of Light's Gym during my adventure through Dracula's Castle and feeding it snacks when it was Camus. He was previously used by my ex-main Joker who had Karel's Weapon Attack Up and Elise, but I love the Spirit a thousand times better when he's paired up with Sephiroth, since he's a sword-fighter. I fondly remember finding Camus when he was possessing Marth in the Sacred Land and then evolving him into the powerful Legend Spirit, Sirius. He evolved into Sirius right after I defeated Dracula in Dracula's Castle and I leveled up Sirius to Level 99 by feeding him snacks. That was the best moment I remember while playing Ultimate.

I just got him today right before seeing this, and the spirit set i used was: King Boo: Floaty Jumps The Dlc Terry Bogard legend that lets your fs meter skyrocket. Then i used jigglypuff, lured him off the ledge and use the final smash so he couldnt grab ledge

I created a spirit set a bit stronger than akuma (6x strength): Lvl99 Hades final form with demon style Majora’s mask Garon If you give your enemy a lvl1 buzz buzz with demon style it will go up to 9x strength 350% with a fully charged forward smash
My favorite combo was Soma Cruz (Enhanced version of Dracula) and Roxas/Celebi. Absolutely shreds, even without a style, along with being neutral, so you don't need to swap off of it.
Hey great video ! I literally thought this was the only way to get AKUMA was on the spirit board. You can get him in the Castlevania part of the game. I played as Banjo Kazooie. I guess you may say I did a " cheesey method "aswell. I beat him the second try no problem. Pick Banjo , I have the Jinjos Spirit "upgraded" to The Mighty Jinjonator. His "feature" is he makes the character GIANT. The Mighty Jinjonator has 2 support slots, I choose FIORA (MADE OF METAL) & SHADOW MAN ( KILLING EDGE). I did it the entire time I was GIANT. I threw the sword at him right off the hop and charged him. Do the WONDERWING ( SIDE B) and keep using those EXPLOSIVE EGGS ( DOWN B) he did hit me a few times and I went into the DANGER ZONE. But I won AKUMA. Just incase your using Banjo Kazooie , that's how I did it.
Hades final form with Weezing and Fi (+ fire and explosion attacks, + neutral B) all that on hero and you use 1 full charge Neutral B and u get 206% insta kill :) And that's without dojo training...
Tank is a safe alternative if you don’t care for speed but needs the defense. You can find the Tank Style in the Dark Section on the path to Ganon you’ll have to fight a giant King K. Rool on Omega Brinstar Depths in a Stamina Match.
tip: you can find akuma in the world of light map, by using the kapp’n spirit to ride the boat in the lake, and travelling to the street fighter zone, where you have to beat every street fighter character, and at the end is akuma. this will give you a chance to use no rematches, no shuffles, and extra world of light bonus skills. (i had akuma before, but since he had 0 support slots, i dismissed him, i didnt know he was the strongest spirit)
I would reccomend HADES (final form) force pact General pact But i guess this strategy would be better as u start with no damage but with pacts you start with some damage
Also quick way to get Akuma (my way lol) I'd use Bowser to spam grab and body slam and fire it non stop, and for Spirits i'd use Xerneas (In spirit board) as defensive spirit and Walhart for super armor to avoid flinching and Off the Hook for the attack boost. Hope this helps too! ^^
an easy way to kill akuma is using the loki support spirit and fox. throw the black hole at him and he’ll be locked in place then spam neutral special (the gun) at he’ll die in 3 seconds
So I mixed Black Knight and halberd and put Black Knight in the demon dojo and they do 1% less damage then what Akuma can do with dojo powers. So I got the power and the defense for my Ike and Ganondorf combo.
After I made this spirit (Akuma Lvl99 with Demon Style), I thought of using that spirit to get the Cuphead spirit, and guess what? The Cuphead spirit appeared. Right on spirit board.
A much better Spirit combination would be sitris and Roxas as the support spirit when using a fighter that uses melee weapons even with no same series bonus you do more damage than akuma although you do sacrifice defense while doing so but in exchange you become way faster and if you want to sacrifice just a bit of power and become almost as strong as akuma offensively but be a lot more potent defensively be faster and have your stats increase once you reach 80% damage use the primary Spirit as Rex (masterdriver) Rex (master driver) is the strongest three slotted spirit in the game I did some math and figured out that Rex master driver actually has the best overall stats when you Total them out of all three slotted spirits keep in mind the setup is only better if you're using characters that mainly use melee weapons as their attacks there's also Hades final form which does way more damage than both of these but it makes you frailer because of the required 30% damage you must have When using the spirit although if you like Lucario then using Hades final form in demon style with physical attack and aura-boosting spirits its pretty decent although if you just want to turn your brain off and boost the attack of your character no matter what your character is then yeah just use akuma and also fun fact while the game would tell you otherwise akuma actually has a higher stat total than The Darkon And Galem spirits

tip: you can find akuma in the world of light map, by using the kapp’n spirit to ride the boat in the lake, and travelling to the street fighter zone, where you have to beat every street fighter character, and at the end is akuma. this will give you a chance to use no rematches, no shuffles, and extra world of light bonus skills.
(i had akuma before, but since he had 0 support slots, i dismissed him, i didnt know he was the strongest spirit)

Also quick way to get Akuma (my way lol) I'd use Bowser to spam grab and body slam and fire it non stop, and for Spirits i'd use Xerneas (In spirit board) as defensive spirit and Walhart for super armor to avoid flinching and Off the Hook for the attack boost.

an easy way to kill akuma is using the loki support spirit and fox. throw the black hole at him and he’ll be locked in place then spam neutral special (the gun) at he’ll die in 3 seconds

How much does the Demon Style increase the power?
I got the spirit from Adventure Mode since it was too hard for me to fight him on the spirit board.
Actually the most damage you can do is with the devil spirit with majora’s mask and any trade off
So I mixed Black Knight and halberd and put Black Knight in the demon dojo and they do 1% less damage then what Akuma can do with dojo powers. So I got the power and the defense for my Ike and Ganondorf combo.
Hehe whoops didn't realize that Akuma was stronger than Calamity Ganon, so I used ganon for my ultra hit build. I might change it

Evil Ryu with demon style does more damage but has less armor, I use DK and his charged slap attack does like 185 damage
After I made this spirit (Akuma Lvl99 with Demon Style), I thought of using that spirit to get the Cuphead spirit, and guess what?
The Cuphead spirit appeared. Right on spirit board.
A much better Spirit combination would be sitris and Roxas as the support spirit when using a fighter that uses melee weapons even with no same series bonus you do more damage than akuma although you do sacrifice defense while doing so but in exchange you become way faster and if you want to sacrifice just a bit of power and become almost as strong as akuma offensively but be a lot more potent defensively be faster and have your stats increase once you reach 80% damage use the primary Spirit as Rex (masterdriver) Rex (master driver) is the strongest three slotted spirit in the game I did some math and figured out that Rex master driver actually has the best overall stats when you Total them out of all three slotted spirits keep in mind the setup is only better if you're using characters that mainly use melee weapons as their attacks there's also Hades final form which does way more damage than both of these but it makes you frailer because of the required 30% damage you must have When using the spirit although if you like Lucario then using Hades final form in demon style with physical attack and aura-boosting spirits its pretty decent although if you just want to turn your brain off and boost the attack of your character no matter what your character is then yeah just use akuma and also fun fact while the game would tell you otherwise akuma actually has a higher stat total than The Darkon And Galem spirits
