    Grate stuff. In addition to the hammer ons, pull offs, and slides, I also do a lot of string bending and vibrato. When dun tastefully, it really adds even more depth to your over all playing. But especially melodies.

    IMO you are the only Sri Lankan origin - bass player who has mastered a wider variety of techniques. I was really thrilled to see the techniques you have acquired and how you apply them in music. Where almost others slap on the root and octave you have moved beyond that to play like Marcus Miller like. Best of Luck!

    Thanks for this not so simple trick. I just recently started practicing in earnest single string scales and this seems like a fun and functional way to do it. And I just love fun and functional!

    THAT was a great lesson. Well done. I've always wanted to have a lesson with Jeff on his legato style and how to incorporate it into my playing. Very nice breakdown that you did.

      he's got a very midrange tone, so i'm guessing only a little of treble
