Candy Rings Freeze-dried tips

Peach rings, apple rings, or watermelon rings are quick and easy to do. I set my freeze dryer to Candy mode and I add about eight hours to it so I do these overnight. The trick is to make sure your gummy‘s are rings do not have starch in them in the first few ingredients those are guaranteed to fail.

Those look awesome! I’m new to freeze drying, when you say you added 8 hours, do you mean to the extra dry time? What temperature setting did you use? Thank you

I change the setting to 150 temp. Heat it for 4 to 6 hours in FD and they look like this.
