The fact that they’re remaking Live a Live AND releasing it in the West brings a tear to my eye. That game is a true hidden gem that so few outside of Japan have gotten to experience.

I know nothing about the game except that its soundtrack was composed by Yoko Shimomura, but I was quite glad to see it released nonetheless. This must make some people very happy.
I genuinely cried tears of joy when they announced the new Mario Strikers game. Hopefully this one will be as good as Charged!
I jumped out of my seat at the sight of it. But did you think the intensity of this one was toned down from the first? I loved charged so much I hope this one keeps the same energy

It seemed very toned down for me, and the characters felt a bit… de-personalized, if that make any sense? They kind of look like they’ve been stripped of their individuality and different themes from Charged. I guess we’ll see when it’s released and I can play it myself.

The appeal of Wii Sports is Miis. It's not mainstream, so that's why people are still upset.
As a 80s kid, growing up with NES and SNES, I love that Nintendo is still going strong (even though I only own a PS today).

Mario Smash Football was literally my childhood back in the GameCube days. After retiring my GameCube in 2012 and switching to PC and nowadays PS5 I recently decided to pick up a Switch OLED after all those non-Nintendo years. Man what a great time to be a Nintendo player!

Honestly, I'm pretty excited for Chrono Cross. Everything else, save for The show 22, was pretty exciting
I am ridiculously excited for Xenoblade 3. 2 is my all time favorite game, and I've been really looking forward to the next installment. September can't come soon enough!

I'm a HUGE Kirby fan, and I'm so happy he's getting a real 3D platformer, and it looks on the Odyssey scale! I'm so ready!
It’s like Mario 3D world not odyssey. The stages are clearly linear corridors.
Just wish this adventure has the stone ability. It’s my favorite Copy Ability because when it comes to bosses, they can’t touch Kirby as a stone!

I was like "hey that's not bad" until they showed the companion cube. And then my heart left my rib cage and rocketed off to outer space. Seriously, Portal is my favorite game of all time! This was unexpected, to say the least.

@@kabobawsome think about it this way your actually getting more with the dlc for the 7-year-old game than MK9. With a new game you would be paying 60 dollars for 32 courses (16 new & 16 old) & the ability to reunlock everything with some slightly new stuff here & there like characters, karts, & accessories. But with the update you'd be paying ⅓ of what you would for 1½ new Mario Kart games, the only defining difference is that it would still be the same game & every track is a retro cup.
So if you really would've rather had a new Mario Kart you're admitting your only paying for the title not the actual game.

Yes its honestly just the most perfect direct ever, I dont see how anyone could ever dislike it, I mean they even added Mario Kart levels instead of Mario Kart 9 Because they were using reverse phycology, therefore Mario kart 9 isnt relevant. the way each second of the direct was exquisite, the way they play the volleyball game to consume our time is genius, since they get money and it is the most satisfying content ever on the face of the earth. I rate the direct 10000/10 ngl everything was kind of cheap, definitely should increase the price to $29387474 dollars per game

Klonoa is back? I love it! One of the most underrated series of all time!
I'm excited to get i because it's one of those things where I have really vage memories of it, but I never actually knew what it was. It was on the tip of my tongue for years.

I got chills when saw Chrono Cross. I have waited legit over 15 years for this game to get a remaster. It says newly enhanced soundtrack!? How can you enhance perfection? 😁😍 I am so excited.

I am going to be sad if there is no Parasol ability for Kirby, floating around with a parasol in a 3D adventure platformer would be really adorable and great!

I agree. Iwata was an absolute legend of a man! Nintendo will never truly be the same without him, but these guys here are awesome, and are a big reason why I will always love Nintendo.

It would be great if Nintendo also added the Zelda HD games (Twilight Princess and Wind Waker) and the 3ds games (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask) on the Nintendo Switch Console (not for Nintendo Online).

When I review Mario Kart 8 back in the Wii U days I have Mario Kart 8 6/10 and I had to compare the game to other exclusive racing games on other consoles and when I do this Mario Kart 8 lacked in content and was overpriced and graphically the game was bad and the game had technical issues when playing online for nearly everyone and after my complaint Nintendo did add some DLC tracks to Mario Kart 8 and at the time Satoru Iwata was really struggling with cancer and he was trying to save 3DS from going and tried to boost Wii U sales at the same time
Smash Bros on Wii U I gave 5/10 coz Smash Bros for the Wii had a 12 hour 2D platform adventure mode with skippable cutscenes at the beginning and end of each stage and the mode is absent on Smash Bros Wii U and Smash Bros for the Switch..
Am not a fan of having more characters for the sake of lesser modes and yes Smash Bros Ultimate is missing game modes and the game is too identical to the Wii U version and the Wii U version is too similar to the 3DS version so Smash Bros Ultimate I gave 5/10..

Now silly people are like Wow Mario Soccer is back but look on the 3DS there is Mario Sports Super Stars and on the cartridge is Mario Soccer, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Mario Baseball and Mario Horse Racing and the game is compatible with Amiibos and can play vs friends n family for free..
The reason why 2D Metroid game looks washed out on 3DS is not coz of 3DS capabilities and it more to with the fact that Nintendo had Metroid Dread to release and the reviewers will compare Metroid Dread to Metroid on 3DS therefore giving Metroid Dread 9 or 10 out of 10 but in reality Metroid Dread is about a 8 hour 2D platform action adventure game and should of been a eshop exclusive at 15/20 bucks but 60 bucks is a total rip off and Nintendo fan boys give me hate for speaking the truth and the truth is even if Metroid Dread was 100 bucks Nintendo fanboys will still give me hate so I got a Xbox One same day Mincraft Steve was released for Smash Bros Ultimate and I paid 1 dollar for the first month of Gamepass Ultimate and since then to this day I paid nothing to be online with my Xbox one and I get 100 games a month to play for FREE with just Microsoft points..
I collect 12,000 Microsoft points which isn't hard to do like U go loo with phone and go on a website called bing and get 3 points for each internet search and the limit a day is 30 browses then points still going up but everyday I collect 50 points for getting an achievement and then there's Gamepass goals like log into Gamepass on mobile phone and play a Gamepass game

I would give 7.5/10. The Mario Kart booster course pack is probably my favourite thing from this direct even though it’s not MK9. The rest of the direct was pretty good and I’m not going to complain like everyone else just because they didn’t get what they wanted even though I was hoping for new 3D Mario.

I can't properly articulate the absolute magnitude of the emotional whiplash I had going from sighing in disappointment at the KH Cloud versions yet again to seeing Klonoa finally come back for the first time in 14 years. I'm so happy.
What cloud version mean?
@@mustard8148 Cloud version means that you can only play them via streaming over the internet. What that means is that unless you have absolutely immaculate internet, you will experience input lag, stuttering, connection losses and more, which is especially bad for KH games because they often requires quick reflexes and reaction time. This also knocked out the main reason I wanted to play them on the Switch: portability (since it requires good internet at all times). Not only that, but when the servers for the cloud versions are turned off sometime in the future, you will no longer be able to play them.
Cloud versions are usually done when a game can’t be reasonably ported over to the Switch, like KH3, but in this case, they even opted for cloud versions for 1.5+2.5 which contains PS2 and PSP games (plus DS game cutscenes in PS2-style graphics), all of which could run on the Switch without much trouble. Overall, it’s saddening because Square Enix clearly just took the cheapest route with putting KH on Switch even though fans have been clamoring for Switch versions since the system launched five years ago.
