Nintendo just put out a better Sonic trailer than Sega did. This should have been the first trailer for the game. It makes so much more sense than the weird rollout Sega did

It's still Sega putting out a trailer for THEIR game, smart guy. Although, I'll admit that they could've given ign better content to work with, but I Aldo understand maybe not wanting to spoil the game.
This was far beyond my expectations. It was so surprising and joyful for me to see all Major Persona Games being ported on Nintendo Switch & also some New footage from SONIC FRONTIERS. I'll Never underestimate a Partner Showcase Direct Again, it was best of them all until now.

Oh my goodness, Megaman Battle Network, at long last!! Having only played 5 and 6, I can finally experience them all once again!
I also missed a few. I’m really curious to know if the Multiplayer features will work.
I played 3-6 and 3 was my favorite! I really hope they have online multiplayer.

I think it's amazing how 30 seconds of Sonic Frontiers in Nintendo Direct was so much more fun and managed to show the concept of the game better than 3 entire videos from IGN.

It was a good 'Stay away!' warning to me as although I kind of enjoyed the main Dragon Quest demo I find the music so overbearingly appalling in its relentllessly parpy jolly way that I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. I'd have to honestly say it's the worst music in an ongoing series I'm aware of. It actively chases me away from all the titles.
They really want you to know "THIS IS DRAGON QUEST. PLEASE PLAY DRAGON QUEST"
Each time that there is something about DQ they play this music, I am tired of it at this point

I literally shed tears for the Megaman Battle Network Collection. My gameboy got me through some tough stuff as a child, and I was obsessed with the Battle Network games. The third title is probably one of my favorite games of all time. I've been wanting this collection for so long.
Capcom just knows man, they just know. They're not perfect but they'll always by my favorites.

I'm glad they showed more footage of Sonic Frontiers. The fact that the open world is more of an Overworld for various "dungeons" is really welcome, and the combat looks way better than previous gameplay footage.
Just remember: It’s still in development so the gameplay might not be that was shown
the only thing that still needs work is the framerate and visual glitches.
I think it's a similar thing with Battletoads 2020 when they first showed it off where it looked bad because they were showing the slower sections of the game, and similarly had sonic running around an empty field
@PassBy it is Close to Releasing by this time they should have some solid game if they are announcing it if they are not gonna delay it they have a little time gap for developing
Kind of strange but for me, it looked way better than any other trailers from SEGA/IGN so far.
I’m so excited for so many of these, but PAC Man world re pac is the one I’m looking forward to the most. Soooo many good memories of it from when I was a kid.
This Direct proved why Partner Showcases are a good format, everyone that is complaining about tomorrow's Partner Showcase is just either stupid or have a memory issue.

The only reason partners directs in 2020 were bad is because there weren't many new and interesting games to show.

I don't care what anyone says, this mini direct was AMAZING. I cried when I saw MegaMan Battle network. That was my childhood. Then they showed that Pacman platformer remake and I was hooked! Mario Rabbids looked even better than the first one. Sonic Frontiers doesn't seem to be on the cloud thankfully, which was rumored. And Persona 5 Royal's coming to switch!!!!! I've only owned Nintendo, so this is a dream come true!!

I agree. Could have easily been called a normal direct, I see nothing “mini” about it. Personally, Pac-Man World was the biggest surprise for me, and I’m both excited and happy that it’s on Switch! Plus, “Laser Eyes” looks like a really interesting indie game.

Just don't watch it live and wait until it's published as a VOD then lol. It's a shame we aren't getting live directs now; Nintendo is yet another one of those cases in gaming where I've become desensitised by disappointment.
I smiled so hard seeing that Pac-Man World is coming to the switch. I have my dad's old PS1 and play the game but it's hard seeing it. But it's so fun.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Pac-Man world as a kid but I never knew it was popular enough to warrant a remake
Genuinely surprised and delighted to see this direct. I came in with my expectations low, but I am actually quite happy to see many of these titles get announced, and learn of a few new indie games along the way.
What surprised you about this? The only actually good thing in the direct has already been leaked to be coming anyway (persona)

I have been looking for a coop game for my brother and I, and Blanc is absolutely perfect. My brother loves wolf's and animals, and I love the beautiful stylish graphics. And I am getting more hyped for Sonic Frontiers now, the cyberspace levels look gorgeous.

The fact that Capcom brought back MegaMan Battle Network as a collection is a godsend, I love it so much!

Considering that this was a direct mini AND that it was a partner direct, this wasn't half bad. I give it a solid 7/10, pretty good.

This had to be one of the best partner showcase Nintendo presented in awhile with Capcom,Sega/Atlus,Square-Enix, with alot surprises.

The Megaman Battle Series Legacy Collection is actually an incredible value for how detailed and flushed out each Battle Network game is!
If Capcom splits the collection into two volumes, volume 1 has GBA games that are over $75 US each. Day 1 purchase, Appreciate you Capcom.
Your logic is ridiculous. This would be like saying Nintendo could sell Earthbound digitally for 100 dollars and it would be a great value.
I think he's just pointing out that these games needed a modern digital port badly as some games are over 70$ on the secondary market.

A physical Edition with all games for 60,- and a digital plit with half the games each for half the price is a really neat way of porting these! Gives you a nice choice. Will be going fot the physical for sure :)

Anyone else super excited for Harvestella?! Wow was not expecting a game like that today. I’m a big fan of the old hm, rune factory and sdv. This looks like it will be amazing.
skipped rf5 cuz of the many issues but harvestella looks atleast good hope they show more later on

P5 and nier are gonna Run like PowerPoint presentations at 360p. They’re awesome games but the switch can’t run them, p5 barely looked ok on the ps3.
@@ganymedehedgehog371 i think persona 5 will be okay, persona 5 on the ps3 ran fine, and the switch is basically a beefed up ps3 portable! sure there will be some downscaling but i bet atlus will do their best to run p5r wonderfully on the switch

I’m afraid E3 is going to be a dinosaur because the big 3 console developers and a lot of famous third party devs are leaning towards having more of their own conference shows like Nintendo because it’s not overly difficult to record them and post them online. Also we’re in an age now where a lot of us gamers want to just see the games that are coming out in the near future and not the advanced hardware that our consoles are running on. For some of us that’s the last thing we ever think about. Gameplay trailers and reveals are what we want for right now until a new generation of consoles are revealed.

I’m happy for the battle network games (kind of surprised Star force wasn’t added to it but I guess they’re different) but I hope capcom actually adds some sort of multiplayer to it even if it’s just local multiplayer between two switches being next to each other.
Oh my goodness! My first thought that was Monkey Island when I saw the trailer start, but didn't believe it! I can't believe we're getting a new Monkey Island game! What a blast from the past! I did not see that coming!
Also, I'm glad Persona 3 and 4 are getting ported! I've been wanting to play those for so long since I missed out on them!
