Awesome singing by V2S2. Hearing this song for the first time in this form. This presentation, though radically different to the tune it is sung in conventional Carnatic music concert, was very pleasing to the ears. Hats off Subhaji for your explanation. You are an encyclopaedia of Tamil film music. A fitting tribute to the composers, Swarnalatha and Mahakavi by the QFR team. Mahakavi's poetries will live the test of time for centuries. What a lovely presentation. As you said, Subha maam, it is a fitting tribute to the greats involved in it. My eyes were flooded when you talked about them especially Mahakavi and when you mentioned that Swarnalatha too passed away on this day ie 12 September.
While this QFR series entertain us, it also, once in a while, does break the emotional dam and this song did it today. My sincere congratulations to the singers, musicians and the technicians behind this wonderful song on this unforgettable date, remembering the greats. Thank you.
