@@MK-kl9tw I'd say so, I have a mk5 gti pirelli so it basically has the mk6 R engine. Let's just say there's a reason VW didn't put a bigger turbo on the mk6 GTi engine to make the R and instead beefed up the mk5 one.

Why anyone want a five-door GTI is beyond me. GT cars are 2-doors (3-doors) by definition. VW has lost it’s mind by not even ofFering the beautiful 3-door GTI anymore. 5-door models look like crap.
You can’t make a passenger car out of a true GT car.
