    It doesnt matter how "practical" this is in a fight, the precision and practice it took is incredible

    At the end of the video, you can tell he is sad for he knew that was his last performance.

      It's a dance spirit, not a martial arts spirit.
      He is a creative dance player and cannot fight.
      Japanese martial artists have nothing but disgust and derision towards XMA.

    Those are not real weapons you cannot juggle authentic Katana, this immature routine is an insult to Japanese swordsmanship and the spirit of Budo

    "One cut one kill, that is all they said" This theatrical rubbish is total hollywood. Two katanas like this is complete nonsense.

    • @robbieatvic
      @robbieatvic Před 9 lety +1

      Urge McFlopZ the comment " 1 cut 1 kill" is nearly 400 years old and it means " dont stuff around with bullshit showing off rubbish when one well timed cut will kill your enemy" all else is pure theater and thats what this is, total showtime and nothing else.

      It's entertainment, it serves no intention of having any martial application.

    • @cadethumann8605

      robbieatvic First off, Hollywood is just a place of gathering for various filmmakers, not a corporation run by a group of bosses that dictate how film scenes (fighting ones included) should be like.
      Second, you know there can be other uses for weapons besides fighting. In this case, they can be used to help entertain people with impressive movements and tricks.
      Third, while not combat effective, it is good to use elaborate movements like this guy as they can be good exercise for the body. Plus, they are fun to execute as well as being fun to watch.
