i have never seen a blindfolded Weapons Kata. I loved it! though i would still like to see him spar full contact... but i do appreciate the sport in this.

robbieatvic First off, Hollywood is just a place of gathering for various filmmakers, not a corporation run by a group of bosses that dictate how film scenes (fighting ones included) should be like. Second, you know there can be other uses for weapons besides fighting. In this case, they can be used to help entertain people with impressive movements and tricks. Third, while not combat effective, it is good to use elaborate movements like this guy as they can be good exercise for the body. Plus, they are fun to execute as well as being fun to watch.
It doesnt matter how "practical" this is in a fight, the precision and practice it took is incredible
