RAD Builds: Riptide a.k.a. Percy Jackson’s Sword from the Disney+ Series (DIY)

With the release of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians Disney+ series, I was inspired to build Percy Jackson’s sword, Riptide!

Materials Used:
- poster board
- 2mm and 10mm craft foam
- wire coat hanger
- thin cord
- 1in PVC pipe
- ⅞ in PVC pipe
- 2 Lego pieces
- painters’ tape
- Scotch tape
- liquid super-glue
- flex spackling
- silver spray paint
- bronze spray paint
- flashlight (www.amazon.com/Hatori-Flashli...)
Tools Used:
- scissors
- exacto knife
- pencil
- pliers
- wire cutters
- dremel (sanding and cutting bit)
- 120 grit sandpaper

That's a very clean build! As a cosplayer I would only use foam, not poster board, but I should admit the result is absolutely smooth. Keep it up!
