@@the-mma-centralthat’s cuz u expected an all out war from bell to bell. Up until that point it was a good fight, not great. Arguably still fotn considering jiri v Rakic was only 1 1/2 rds and Green v Miller was mostly one sided and pretty low level.
@@BN-xu5bzI think it was a decent fight but I expected better, I thought it was gonna be a war and max would build into the fight and slowly break gaethje down but it was just max pre much schooling gaethje who could not find his range. Rounds 3,4,5 were id say good but it didn’t feel like a fight outside of round 4 cause gaethje could not figure out max
@@rileygarcia1 It was a Muay Thai style fight, the king of atrophy won. Both were happy to exchange blows at 70-80% for five rounds and decided to bang in the last 10 seconds. Other fighters have more weapons and more finishing potential, they implement more strategies, approaches, they look to end the fight ASAP or they can wrestle and hustle the round. So they seem more dangerous in my opinion. Plus its way more entertaining to watch in my opinion.
