Nice haul 😊 I’ve always wanted to read Nightwood.

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of it before! It seems like such a great book and one that many people could enjoy. Thanks for watching :)

What a calm breath of fresh air your channel is :D Although some of the books didn't really pique my interest, I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on them. I finished The Poisonwood Bible a few days ago and now I'm working my way through a non-fiction book about the Congo. Your job at the bookstore sounds like heaven. Have a great day!

Sylvia Plath was a great writer though it can be a bit hard going at times. The Bell Jar is worth a read and I have her book Ariel which is a collection of poems. You could read some of her poems online as it will give you a better understanding of who she was. Ted Hughes was a disaster his second wife killed herself and their young child which makes me wonder what kind of toxic relationships these were people having! Let us know what you thought of the book Inger when you have finished it. Have a great week!

Hi Caroline! Great to hear from you again :) I’ve read one of Sylvia’s shorter collections of poetry and really loved it, although I didn’t understand all of the poems and some were quite hard going, but I am intrigued to read her biography as well as The Bell Jar. I will let you know how I like it.
