    Riding Bing Surfboards makes me feel like I have more style and grace than I do! Talking to Matt Calvani, owner and head shaper at Bing Surfboards, it's easy to understand why. An enormous amount of thought, testing and experience goes into Matt's shapes.
    I was fortunate to catch up with Matt and hear about his favourite surfboard, the Bing Dharma 2.0, and the long, not-so-straightforward journey Matt took to get this new Dharma - "the most versatile surfboard in the Bing range" - right.
    Hopefully, next time I'm in California, I'll give a Bing Dharma 2.0 a go to be able to compare it to the original Bing Dharma (Full Review Here: bit.ly/BingDharmaReview).
    Have you ridden a Bing Dharma - original or the 2.0?

    Is that a volan patch our just a deck patch? And how big of a difference in the ride does it make? I've always favored heavier glassing because I'm a bigger guy, do I've never ridden a "competition"our "ultra light" glassing schedule.

    • @Comparesurfboards
      @Comparesurfboards  Před 9 lety

      Arthur Cho Hey Arthur, I know Matt adds extra glass to the decks of all of his boards - but they never feel heavy, just solid. I'm a bigger guy, too, and have not had any issues with the Bing's I've owned.Cheers,Benny

      Thanks man! Have you ever looked into coil surfboards? They are based out of Florida.

      Arthur Cho I have indeed - I tried to line up a Coil Megamind a while back but it became too difficult to get one to San Diego. Have you ridden a Coil? What do you think?

    Hi Benny,
    Just gauging your thoughts between the Bing Dharma 2.0 and the hypto krypto as your everyday driver. Currently ride a 5'8 31L Hypto. Just trying to fins out which board has the lowest range and highest range + greatest overall range. Surf mainly beach breaks in Perth, Western Australia.
    Cheers

      1k1ngst0n I felt the same after watching Matt film this! I wasn't sold on the Dharma 2.0 - mostly because I feel strongly about the original Dharma and thought it shouldn't borrow the name - but after hearing Matt talk through it, I am sold on the 2.0
