October 29, 1979 MNF Seahawks at Falcons [1/2]

This was a pretty extraordinary game, considering it meant nothing in the grand scheme of the ’79 season. Not particularly the best-played game, but it has more than its share of moments. I remember seeing the 2nd Quarter Herrera play live on MNF back then and getting really excited; I was a first-year football observer back then, but by that point even I could tell it was a happenin’ play. I don’t usually like to post games I didn’t originally record myself, but I did not see this one anywhere on YT and thought it was a worthy candidate; so thank you to the person from whom this emanates. Don’t miss Caitlyn Jenner in the 3rd Quarter as a young man.

I was 15 years old. A huge Seahwawks at the time and excited to watch them for first time on MNF. Was an exciting win but think the next week against the Rams they had like -10 yards offence and season went down from there.
