- Downpour is a role-playing map for Garry's Mod that captures a very particular vibe: That moment when you've just left work or school on a lazy rainy night, barely able to keep your eyes open, but still with somewhere to be. In some ways eerie, but mostly, calming. Well, unless you go underground.

Now THIS is a map that deserves the ODST music. Gonna have to see this one for myself, especially with some appropriate music to listen to while exploring.
This map is like a modern (well, MORE modern) reimagining of the environment in Cry of Fear. It lowkey makes me want a sequel.
The part where he was in absolute darkness felt so real. I was looking around my screen for an opening or a door.
The child like "Oh its a lighthouse! I wanna go see the lighthouse!" Was childlike, but fitting for the librarians childhood stuff he talks about
(casuallly) sending grenades up the elevator
You can tell I’m a special one......I didn’t want my guy stepping out of the train station because I didn’t want him to get drenched and catch a cold. 🤦🏻♀️
Gather round people, the evenin just got better.
"kind of a big hospital" uh yeah, i sure hope it does
I love how libraian voice's suddenly go up when he sees an light house.
there can only be one man whose witnessed a rain drop hit the spikes of a fence
I love how the train timetables just say "Everything's cancelled, yo".
Tip: r_flashlightfar and r_flashlightfov can be used to make the flashlight brigher and/or wider/thinner respectively.

this rain ASMR givin me the tingles alright
the relaxing feeling that comes from trains is because there's no sense of urgency, like you said it is like a cradle, instead of rushing to some place in a car, or being stuck for hours in a giant flying tuna can with a crying baby, your just... there, flawlessly gliding across the tracks with a few other people. instead of a bunch of twists and turns and highways and intersection with hundreds of people on them, its just one straight route with the occasional bend or stop, its a rare case where the lack of decision or choice makes it better
I love this guy and his content. Best creepy maps explorer.
The vibe of this map sort of feels like early Second Life where the users used to make these urban / industrial role play scenes using the old Max Payne and HL2 texture sets. I like it! ^_^
I hear that lot's of people avoid rainy places like because they feel it's depressing and overly gloomy, to each his own i guess, but i love the sound and smell of a rainy day
