Micheal and Anna have the sweetest chemistry. They remind me of a grandpa and granddaughter cooking together. All the stories and the laughs. It reminds me of cooking with my grandpa when I was a little girl. So many lovely memories.
I really like Anna. I especially like the way she doesn't take any crap from Michael. Lol
Me too
What an intelligent & witty person Anna is! And clearly she knows her stuff too.
The way she cooks and talks about the food makes me so freakin hungry. I don't even eat venison
The chicken dish and the poached pears..Absolutely delectable 🥘🍐
That orange Savarin cake looked delicious. Might have it for my next bday. Thanks Anna and Micheal!
I enjoy watching the old boy salivating every step of every dish -- and hearing his tidbits of info. When the chef set out the venison to rest, I thought he'd pounce on it. He's just the sort of person a good cook enjoys feeding.
I saw a program saying the queen doesn’t like garlic, I see Anna putting garlic in the steak. I love garlic. Btw, your chefs are great & all of you have a great association. Love the episodes. ❤️
How can a person be enticed with commercial ads for pre cooked, prepackaged dishes after watching what the royals eat, ie garden vegetables, quality meats and poultry and fantastic chocolates! I want to eat like a royal.
I love these historic cooking shows. Thank you!
Oh yum
@@janetedelman1314 ww1wa
How long do you cook the meat
Great joy
Me too
I love Anna, she's fun and sweet and so talented!
I think she is Irish.
I love history! I loved hearing how Cadbury was a pacifist and charged the queen nothing to supply her troops with the luxury of chocolate! Well done you
I’m American and Im sooooo intrigued I keep watching these vids!!!
This commentator is truly fantastic
This fellow is a genius of a presenter
He reminds me of my grandfather and I in the kitchen. If ever you were trying to make something he would have a story to tell you or distract you enough to steal form the pot
Sounds like your Grandfather was a fascinating & funny man.
God bless you both.
Michael has an amazing narration voice.
**waits for Mrs. Crocombe to pop out and start judging**
I mean... Garlic? Eww
Same 😂 but now I left her for Ruth, Peter and Alex on absolute history so I left Audly End 😂
👀
why? Mrs Crocomb isn't a chef.
@@carmenpeters728 when you don’t get the joke
Love how she was so eager to try that cake!

I wish I could have the actual recipes! Great series ❤️
Yes me too.
I'm SOOO hungry now😭!! Everything looks so delicious🤤.
Audley End? Does Mrs. Crocombe know that you are using her kitchen?
Lol
Perhaps she was on holiday?
😂
Well, if Lord and Lady Braybrook (?) invited the BBC, she would naturally give them the use of the kitchen. But would have her kitchen maids scrub it all down afterwards. You never know with those Londoners!
That’s what I was thinking lol
they're such a good duo in the kitchen
I envy you Michael. I want a bite of that cake. Prince Albert must have been very happy!
Very delicious and looking tasty CAKE. Water water in mouth. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MOTHER QUEEN.
I've eaten both wild and farmed venison. There is a HUGE difference in flavor and texture of the meat. Wild venison (deer meat) has a bit of a peppery, gamey flavor and, if not well-prepared, can be stringy and tough, depending on how the summer went that year (water, food supply, etc.). Farmed venison has a milder flavor and since the animal isn't dependent upon how much rain or available food there was that summer, isn't quite so stringy and tough. Yes, my father hunted and fished to flesh (no pun intended) out my grandfather's poultry farm supply of eggs, fowl, and produce. Later, when I was an adult, he still hunted and we compared our store bought venison steaks with the ones from his kill that year.
One MercilessMing okay okay ! ....we got your story! 😓..just stop typing for God’s sake ! 😣😣
@@VN-ux2ep--YOU FIRST. Oh, and no one put a gun to your head and forced you to read anything which you, apparently, find so distressing. So, grow up, put on your big kid gotchies, and move on. POOR YOU.
One MercilessMing easy easy kiddo...😂😂 ooh poor baby did I get on your nerves ? go find your Mama..
@@VN-ux2ep--You first. And understand that you don't impact my life one whit, but triggering YOU has been a bit of fun. Run along now. MUTING and IGNORING you.
@Alexandra McLean--It's not really about having a preference. It's a definite distinction in the flavor of the meat, having, of course, more to do with the deer's diet than anything else. I'm actually not fond of venison AT ALL. I keep seeing Bambi, Faline, and hearing Thumper say (reinvented, of course), "Eating deermeat is a special treat; it makes keen ears and strong, fleet feet. (But is sure is awful stuff to eat!)
Everything looks delicious
Both of them were as sweet as that exceptional cake.❤
Anna is cool. Very confident and relaxed in her work. Beautiful cake. I could taste it.
Just Love 💕💕💕 rum cake.. going to make it to the Christmas.... whit fruit and nuts...hardly can't wait

Im amazed at how simple some of the dishes are
I think is beautiful that you are honoring her life It is a great idea to remember her further more with her favorite dishes...
I know the Royal birthday cake was delicious i hope one day to have a special birthday cake.
I wish I could make you one! Happy Birthday to you whenever that may be!🎂
You deserve a special Birthday cake.💗
I'm so sorry that you have not yet had one. 💔
Hope that you get/got one, this year. ❤️
In the Tschumi cake, I would replace the chocolate in between the layers with raspberry jam
Really super show.....👏👏👏👏
I am smitten too with MR. MICHAEL BUERK, still charming and looking good ❤️
Oh the Royal Butler. I love him so much.
Cake topped of with Diana's HEART on top
Exactly. 💔
I adore Michael! He is truly brilliant and does such an outstanding job! Must admit I’m totally smitten with him and this series.... the chefs make the cooking appear so seamless and easy to the point I feel comfortable and eager to give a couple of them a whirl on my own! Granted I’m sure to butcher them but it will be fun trying!! Wish me luck :)
Great show. Excellent cooking class.
Happy Birthday .. Queen Elizabeth

Looks delightful and yummy!
Michael you look like a kid on Christmas with Anna’s cake! Hilarious. 😎

Thoroughly enjoyable, so much thanks..guys .
I really like Royalty life! ;-)
This recipe book would be a good thing to reprimp and sell for charity
I am so darn addicted to the country of most of my Heritage. Family hopped on the Mayflower and came to America! Looking forward to a first visit, hopefully, by end of 2021.
These programs are incredibly well done and I’m in love with the host and the wonderful chef’s. I’m up ‘til 2 a.m. sometimes watching one after another!
Just brilliant (as you love to say)!!!
Mayflower? Wow that’s interesting
My family was on the boat with yours.
@@ChaplainDeanna How fun is that!! My ancestor fell off the boat! (he did get rescued). His name was John Howland and he married another passenger Elizabeth Tilley. She came with her parents who died in first year. There is a children’s book called “The Boy Who Fell Off the Mayflower” which tells the story of how he fell off and was rescued. Very fun read.
Who’s yours?
...Along with Vincent Price's and Clint Eastwood's forebears...
What a delicious table fit for the Queen!!!😍😍😍.
These are so much fun to watch. I just found them…! What a delight.! Lovely💕❤️🙏🏻
I, so, enjoy all of your videos! ❤
Prince Charles has a good taste and I love the chicken dish. Venison from a very lovely chef is absolutely fantastic as well.
Lovely show.👌
That chocolate ganache looked divine.
Please could you tell me what chocolate brand was used for this.
I am in the USA but will try to get it ,even if it is a British brand.
Thanks.🙏🏽🙂
I noticed the burner was on all the time the chef was preparing the dough. And the burner was not being used, just wasting all the gas... cooking the air...I guess. But the cake was a delight. At least they gave the name, so I can try it at home.
I love this series!!
I love this and your channel. Thank you so much
Happy birthday 🎊 🎁 too you Queen Elizabeth Enjoy many more May the Queens of Queens also Enjoy

Watching this video makes me very hungry. The food look so delicious wish I was there to try some of the food
Fun facts :
The modern baba au rhum (rum baba), with dried fruit and soaked in rum, was invented in the rue Montorgueil in Paris, France, in 1835 or before.
Stanislaus I
The Rum Baba was created by Stanislaus I in Lorraine
King Stanislaus was exiled from Poland to the French town of Lorraine, where legend has it that he created the Rum Baba from the existing Gugelhupf cakes that were common at the time.
Cadbury Carmelo candy bars made in England was my dad and my special treat that only occasionally we found for sale. I would unwrap the delicate foil wrapper and break off a little square and slip it in my mouth with a long mmm! I just let it gradually melt slowly to savor every bit.
I adore this show. But I always feel so bad for the crew who have to watch everyone eating and can't eat with them.
delicious 🤤
My favorite so far. I grew up on venison and that looks so good.

That made me hungry!
Why was the stove left on at the end there? Nothing was on the burner.
Can we download the book or buy a copy?
josephhgoins you would have to buy it
@@sandym3186 sorry, I should have been more clear. Where can we download or buy a copy of the book?
You can find the recipes on BBC homepage.

@Josephhgoins your original question was clear. It was obvious what you meant. I would love to have these recipes too!
The chefs skin is gorgeous. I couldn’t take my eyes off her beautiful rosy cheeks 😊
Falling in love with blush on make up??? ... really thick pinkish brown blush
It would be nice to be able to get the quantities for every ingredients so we could make also
Excellent 🇨🇦🐘💕
That's great.
Happy birthday "Queen, the Majesty". Many-2 happy returns of the day. May god bless us "Healthy and Secure" by your help.
Why would you fawn over the "royal" parasites, who feed off the work of regular working people, & the riches stolen it from the lands & people that they exploited, enslaved, & plundered?
Especially, as an Indian (if you are, indeed, Indian, as your name suggests to me)?
It makes no discernable sense.
Also because Ben is in the very lean meat and the butter helps and address more fat to it and the delicious flavor is in the fat
HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR COPPERWARE SO BRIGHT AND SHINEY ?
-The Queen used her power to shield Prince Andrew from justice
I make a rum cake, it is very similar
