Hope you guys enjoyed this video. A lot of you are asking what framerate I shot at- the answer is 120fps in 1080p. Sorry for not including that in the video!
Pt 2 of the trendy restaurant videos! Love these videos man 🔥
Another great video!! Just have a few quick questions :)
1. Do you edit in 4K timeline even tho the clips are 1080p to make the compression better when uploading to IG?
2. How do you get music for client videos? Licence from Epidemic as well?
3. Did you use any external lighting when shooting this video? (in the restaurant)
Awesome stuff! Also interested in the 1080p source files vs the 4k timeline. Doesn't that force you to upscale the 1080 footage, decreasing its quality?
I am so stoked on your videos man we have very similar editing styles and I can totally relate to what you’re doing because you use Final Cut. You are quickly becoming one of my favorites on this platform. Hey when you get a chance check out my latest video and tell me if you see similarities throughout LOL
I’m definitely not trying to troll your audience and get views on my video that’s why I am commenting here but please check it out and get back to me your opinion does matter because you are a boss :-) czcams.com/video/Mbn_tXCRwAE/video.html
Daniel Schiffer always great videos but what about the last step... exporting 🥺??
great video brotha...I have a similar process. Food videos are the best. Food never moves, it does what you tell it to, and it never talks back.
dude, I 100% sent your one of your food videos to a local restaurant the other day and was like "could I make something like this for you?" and they were super hype about it, so thank you for helping me get a client😅👌
haha that's amazing
Also, now that I've actually watched the video, I love this. Definitely gonna try editing like this, getting my clips cut to how I want them, adding markers to the music and then just conforming the clips to the music. It seem's like a really focused process fr.
@@DustinHarrelson That's amazing! I really hope he can produce it like this now!
Anyone in this comment section, please help me out.
( What Editing Prigram/Software is he using? )
He never simply just mentiones the editing program he uses!
Or maybe I just misheard all the time
Please, and thanks a lot!
@@successdynamics6041 it's final cut pro
Awesome work dude! Watching your videos always helps to improve my own videos.
Honestly a great and straight forward video. Exactly what I, and I imagine plenty of others, was looking for. Instantly a new fan and follower! Keep these up, great job. Now subscribed!
Who agree's that his recent stuff is always AMAZING?! learned so much from him for editing and filmmaking!!
100%
Thanks so much 😊
Yes totally !
💯💗
Love the final cut tutorials. Keep them coming.
DO you edit youe montages in FCPX?
I’m just getting started in this world but I’m glad there’s someone like you to walk us through. Thanks man. Good work!
Another great video man. Thanks for sharing your process. A lot of people are afraid of sharing their "secret sauce" because they fear other might steal it but you know that there's many other factors to being successful. It's fascinating to see how other creators go about their workflow. I actually use a similar technique in Premiere Pro sometimes when editing to music.
Just need to acknowledge the masterpiece that is the framing! The shot is perfectly square and centered in the room, the desk and laptop at a nice angle, and showing an interesting perspective of the artist in his natural environment with his tools at work.
What a great & simple tutorial. Thanks for making this, I'm just getting into making promotional videos for restaurants and this is giving me so much more confidence to create something dope!
Awesome tutorial. I'm a beginner and just came across your channel. Watched a bunch of videos already and learned so much that now I think I have a foundation to start practicing and bringing ideas to life. Your tutorials are the best I've seen, thanks a bunch!
This video is brilliant! Guys honestly pay attention to this right here. So inciteful! I’ve been doing my this for 17 years now and I always find your info honestly top notch.
Nicely San Daniel!
I’m here because I saw your post on Matti Haapoja’ “top youtubers”. Can’t beleive schiffer wasn’t mentioned in his top five, glad you did because he is by far the best out of that bunch. I’ve been binging these like crazy and already learned mlre in less time than Matti.
I’m also here because of Holtze’s post on Matti’s video 😂.
It had to be said 😂
Does that mean I’ve achieved “influencer” status? 😝
@@MarkHoltze Aw man you did that for me??? Mad respect my friend 🙏
Man... just going through your videos. I LEARNED so many great things!!! You’re awesome!
Hey Daniel,
I just wanted to say that I love all of your content and you're a huge inspiration to me!

Ahh dude this tutorial is lit! Thank you for articulating your process and showing difference between the raw footage and the changes you made. I'm trying to improve in my editing skills and understand the interaction between taking footage and what could be done in post. Been supporting you since you had that banana in the back! Lol keep doing you my dude

Watching this in the nick of time... About halfway through a video edit featuring sushi at a new restaurant in Boston. A lot of helpful tips here. Your videos always inspire and educate. Thanks Daniel.
Thanks for the breakdown. I love the style of your editing so this is helpful for incorporating into my own videos. And great point about food videos being shot sequentially; I didn't really think about that but it really would immensely speed up the editing process for client work.
Sick video bro! I need those glasses 😫
Since editing is my weak point, it's so incredibly helpful to see these kinds of videos. Thank you so much!
