In case anyone is wondering the Musgrave texture has since been merged into the noise texture labelled as fBM
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Thank you a lot for a nice tutorial for the Tire material. I was following your steps and the result looks pretty good. I have just to play with the values now. Thanks :-)
Very simple tutorial, Thank you!
PRETTY COOL.
Really nice thank you so much
Thank you very much
U are my hero
thanks
nice one
It might a bit outdated but still helped me a ton to achieve the tire rubber look. So thank you! Also have a question, do you know how to create a dirt/mud/etc in the tire? (like it has been used), can´t find any tutorial about it. I´m trying to achieve the effect of the tire rolling on a road, so the rolling band would be dirty, while the rest (the sidewalls) would be somewhat clean. But so far can´t understand how to make it or where to find a tutorial that might help achieve this effect. Thanks.
If you use my material, you can add the effect of a dirty tire in the same way as what I do at 0:56. You can see my last 2 posts on Instagram for understanding. I hope I helped you.
@@KidCodeDev Hi, thanks for the reply! I´ll give it a go.
Dynamic paint?
@@Blenderprojects777 I didn't use it. But as an option.
thx
Just nuts, for a beginner such as me I cant even imagine doing this on my own. How did you even come up with it?
Am i missing something or how do I get the texture.png for the image texture
Google "tyre sidewall texture" and use whatever texture you like
Blender 2.82 changed some of the nodes in the Shader Editor, so, unfortunately, this is now outdated. :(
Yeah, I know, thx. The next video about materials will already be on the updated version.
@@KidCodeDev Where did you get the tire texture?
@@dexterjayd.pomilban5469 I drew the simplest texture in GIMP. But you can take any finished texture from the Internet using an "tyre sidewall texture" query.
Hi there. where can I get this texture.png. This would help a lot ;-)
I did it perfectly, but I got a marble texture instead of rubber :D
Cool! Didn't know that my shader can do this)
why i dont have multiply node
it's a Mix RGB node with multiply type
@@KidCodeDev big thanks!
@@fckngienaz4548 You're welcome!
