I had a surgery to remove a VNS device. (It’s like a pacemaker but different) at the end of April. My mom is having a knee replacement surgery the first week of June. So I understand the feeling of it all. Funny enough, I don’t get nervous with surgery. I’m super calm, and relaxed. lol. My mom on the other hand will wait till the last minute before getting the surgery. I understand Ben a bit. I live with people like that as well. I think the best advice I could give is pace yourself. Yes you may feel like you can do a lot. But don’t push yourself. I know sitting around is hard. But because your limited on the body, doesn’t mean your limited on the mind. Take the time to read a book, write in a journal, etc. You’d be surprised how refreshing it is. Stay awesome. ❤

In a few months im going for surgery on my lungs. They need to remove old dried up blood clots. I've already had 43 brain surgeries to replace my 2 shunts. Feel better hun!!❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️

When I had my wisdom teeth removed I had to go under and when I woke up I tried to start a pillow fight with my sister 😂😂. I asked my sister who’s 2yrs younger than me to come along with my mom

Take it from me Ben I did to much after my shoulder surgery and had to have it redone. It was 100 worse the second time. I too have undiagnosed ADHD and it drove me crazy to sit and do nothing for weeks and weeks but it sucks more to have to do it twice.
REST, REST, REST! LISTEN TO YOUR PT PERSON AND YOUR DOCTOR! DONT DO ANYTHING MORE THEN THEY SAY! Believe me they know best the PT more so!

Glad surgery went well. My dog is sensitive when I have been unwell.
Wearing sling may help him realise there is a problem.
Maybe at beginning of each wk set out things that Ben can do (14 things so two a day) so he still feels like his helping. Every wk Ben does one on one date with all the girls it could be colouring but it’s making memories. One night get girls to bed n u two have date evening.
Sounds like Ben is sunny master but Ben u could get some treats n teach Katie basic commands sit, sat etc just so Katie feels sunny will listen xxxx

I had a badly dislocated shoulder I was 55 the specialist told me that I was to old to have an operation my shoulder bone was really sticking up after six weeks I went for a visit again to the specialist who decided that he better do the operation it didn’t really work I still have a bone sticking up not as bad 😊it’s amazing what you can do with one hand
I think sunny knew Ben was having surgery and anxiety made her poo everywhere

Dogs, especially Goldens pick up on stress, absolutely proven in science and my own life, cut Sunny some slack please.
